Thanks I understand this. My problem now is the unit does not actually start. I Think I need entirely new install. I am happy for Windows only. I contacted Chuwi and got quick replay and then nothing. Do you know a Chuwi service center on the Continent?
May 6, 2017 at 5:32 pm #66607Thanks, it looks easy enough. Of course, I have made another mistake. I was working on using your suggestion and download. nfortunately I made yet another mistake somehow with system files and now can not find a way to boot. Every time I try it goes into the bios settings but I can not access it and the screen is not really working. Can only see it with attached monitor. I only have bluetooth keyboard so of course, it does not work when unit not in the operating system. Any options??????
April 20, 2017 at 8:00 am #65724Thanks for suggestion. I have tried two hubs with same result. Unfortunately they are on recognized at all. I guess drivers could be missing.
April 18, 2017 at 4:38 pm #65591Now the problem is that the unit is not recognizing the USB drive. I tried to check the BIOS, got in, but it is non responsive. Can not get to other then the summary page. Also tried to reset the unit as a solution, but I continiue to get a message to It needs more space, but there is nothing left to delete. I hope there are solutions, next step is to trash the unit.
April 18, 2017 at 8:21 am #65530By the way, The battery life is not that great, if I use the USB port how do I keep the unit charged at the same time?
April 18, 2017 at 6:39 am #65529Sorry, I was thinking the mini HDMI connection was a USB
April 17, 2017 at 3:24 pm #65495Sounds easy. Is it micro or mini USB. The mini I have doesn’t seem to fit?
April 15, 2017 at 3:00 pm #65386I am afraid I screwed up and can use some help. Since I never used the Android system decided to try and change the partitions and give more memory to Windows. Stupidly made things worse and now have multiple partitions with even less space for Windows. I tried to correct this using EasUS free version but no luck. I thought getting back to normal using an image would help. Downloaded the 5 parts of the image on this site. I have it on the Micro SD card but can not figure out how to access it. All help appreciated.
Thanks
July 20, 2016 at 8:37 am #43978I have the same problem. In addition most times the touch screen is not very responsive, sometimes freezes Then there are times when it appears to be overly sensitive. Plus battery life something to be desired.
July 11, 2016 at 10:10 pm #43171I now have mine for a few weeks. I have two main problems, the most annoying is when it boots, it gives you a choice of windows or android, but the selection does not work. It gives a 10 second countdown but does not respond to choice. After boot, you can then change operating system. Is there a firmware problem?
