Hi mooh,
I had exactly the same problems after updating Bios to 64Bits and reflashing image using this tutorial (http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/chuwi-h10-32bit-to-64bit-upgrade-v200-hardware/)
The tablet seems to have troubles with POWER management and freeze during reboot or power off, had to force power off by pressing 30 sec.., sometimes reboot itself…
I’ve tried a lot of things but I think the problem is due to the Broadcom Wifi driver.
The last thing I tried (and that worked!) is to replace the BCM driver by using the drivers you can find in the 32bit to 64bit upgrade post. You can Download the x64 drivers package from this link
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B7UJF0mw6LjJaExLQl9wRG9WVHM&usp=sharingunrar C106(X64)–全部驱动.rar
in WIFI folder you’ll find V200 BROADCOM drivers and a text file named “43430r0nvram.txt”– install the driver with installshield installation files
– rename the text file to “43430r0nvram” without the “.txt” extension
– copy it to c:\windows\system32\drivers\ folder, if there’s already an existing file, replace it or renamed it before copying
– rebootAfter that, no problem at all with my tablet, it works like a charm.
Standby, hibernation, reboot, power off… everything is now OK.Let me now if it worked for you.
January 12, 2016 at 10:24 pm #22104Oh wow Thank you so much Drwarg. everything is working for me now, really appreciate.
Only unnecessary problem for me is that when it wake up from sleep, the tablet goes to the desktop immediately without entering the log-in screen.
Note I use window log-in not hotmail account log-in.
Thanks again
January 12, 2016 at 10:31 pm #22105Please ignore the log-in screen question, I just figured the problem out by setting how often the log-in screen appears.
January 14, 2016 at 11:30 am #22311Hello.I followed the directions of “Drwarg”.They are partial …Archive C106 (X64) .. rar unrar after, inside the folder WIFI, there are:folder V200folder V300file 43430r0nvram.txtand another file 安装 V200_wifi 驱动 须知 .txtInside the folder “V200” there is inside a compressed folder:DHD_1.496_Win10_x86_x64_SDIO_driver_with_installshield.zipInside the “zip” file there are two folders:Bcm_DriverOnlyBcm_InstallShieldThe folder “V300” I ignore it?Inside the folder “Bcm_InstallShield” there is the file “setup.exe”.With the installation file “setup.exe”, nothing happens.I make a request for Drwarg:If I remove the “.txt” extension from the file “43430r0nvram.txt” remains “43430r0nvram” without any extension, while in the “Windows / System32 / drivers” are files with the extension “sys”.Can you explain how to update the driver WIFI please?Mooh I also ask if you can please explain …Thank you in advance…January 15, 2016 at 4:40 pm #22464Hi Marco,
I confirm you the “43430r0nvram” should have no extension, theses instructions came with drivers package from chinese letv posts, you can find the original instruction file with the drivers package but it’s in chinese language.
You should be able to install the driver with the “Setup.exe” file in the BCM_InstallShield” folder.
If it does’nt work, first be sure that you have the V200 version of the tablet (USB connector should be both black and wireless adapter is from Broadcom, on the other side V300 have a blue USB connector and a Realtek Wifi adaptor). If you have V300 version this procedure won’t help you, you problem may be a different one.If you have V200 and setup doesn’t work, you can force the installation using “Bcm_DriverOnly” folder.
Search and run “Device Manager” from windows search bar, you should have the deveice manager windows opening.
To update the drivers you can select the Broadcom driver from devices list, right click on it and choose “update driver”
Then select “I have a disk” and browse to “Bcm_DriverOnly” folder.
The driver should be listed, select and click “OK”.
After driver is updated replace the “43430r0nvram” file
RebootGood luck!
January 15, 2016 at 10:00 pm #22494For me, I just renamed the previous file “43430r0nvram.txt” in c:\system32\drivers\ to “43430r0nvram” then copy the new file “43430r0nvram.txt” from V200 BROADCOM folder to c:\system32\drivers\. After copying you can disable and re-enable wifi under Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections ->right click Wifi -> disable then re-enable
Also please check your tablet version (v200 or v300) as Drwarg mentioned.
Good luck
January 16, 2016 at 8:06 am #22510Thank you guys.
Now I understand why my tablet nothing happens by applying this procedure.
Mine is V300. A USB port is colored blue.
But yesterday I worked with Hard Drive connected and no external power supply.
I did not have the problem of Turn Off.
I hope it does not happen again, otherwise the problem is to be found elsewhere.
Thanks again…
January 16, 2016 at 12:08 pm #22533Hello, i have tried the following things to fix the random shutdown problem of my tablet.
Reflashed V300 BIOS
Reinstalled Win image from CHUWI
Did Clean install of WIN10/64
Tried different drivers
Nothing will fix the issue.
So now i have decided to change the V300 motherboard.
January 29, 2016 at 7:02 pm #24326hey guys, maybe I have the same fault as some of you. I’m not sure, but it will be kind if you can analyse it.
this is the detailed description of my error: http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/flashplayer-error-especially-with-unity-web-player/
as I get the tablet it was much more terrible then now. I get shutdowns by hd videos on youtube as well as if I played some browsergames (flashplayer). after bios, windows and driver update it occures only if I play on kongregate.com
yesterday I was testing the tablet with UHD videos on youtube. after 3 hours nonstop play the videos it doesnt occur (akku from 95% to 40%).
Edit: today I tested the same UHD videos with less then 50% akku. and it shutdown really fast. maybe bc of the 2 usb-wireless receiver from mouse and keyboard
what do you mean? is it the power management error? is there an other way to test it?
an other question: has someone experiences with aliexpress? the seller (Shenzhen Ele Technology Limited) say to me that this is a RAM error and just normal, but I dont believe him.. is it expensive to return a tablet? or are there any alternative? all suggestions are wellcome 🙂
January 30, 2016 at 4:09 pm #24302hi, are there any new informations about the problem?
February 16, 2016 at 11:35 am #26134Had big problem with my new Hi10, it just crashes when I played Minecraft. It used to only work for a short while. The battery appeared to be unstable when it came under 50-60%. In the end I tried to lower the brightness. Then it worked fine.
The charger is still a disaster, ordered a new one: Blitz Wolf 4.8A 24W Dual USB Travel Wall EU Charger.
Conclusion: If your Hi10 crashes, try lowering the brightness!
February 17, 2016 at 6:34 am #26236I’ve applied that fix to my network driver. Here’s hoping it works. One note there’s a text file called “安装V200_wifi驱动须知.txt” in the wifi folder and it says just to install the driver then copy 43430r0nvram.TXT to c:\windows\system32\drivers\ (no renaming necessary)
It looks like that is kind of what @mooh has done.
Given what I read/translated in that text file, I’ve done something similar.
Thanks again.

March 2, 2016 at 12:57 pm #27736Does somebody fix the problem? My tablet turns off when I use USB 3.0 hard drive. It’s just when is passing data. I’ve tried updating bios, drivers, lower the brightness but nothing works
April 24, 2016 at 8:30 pm #34932Hi ALL,
Seems I have the same issue like many others here. My Chuwi Hi10 shuts down unexpectedly when it’s on battery while it’s still OK if plugged in with the USB charger.
I tried to flash the BIOS / update drivers and did the windows reset.
Can anyone give me a hint whether there is any other solution to try? Thanks in advance
