Hello,
i have the same Problem, i have a V4 Humper EZBOOK 3 Pro, all is fine, but i cannot boot from my kingspec SSD… Has anyone bought another SSD and is it working for boot? is it recognized by the bios? Or are all SSDs are not shown in the bios by V4 of Jumper EZBOOK 3 Pro?

Hi guy. I confirm that my ezbook 3 pro with unlocked bios [12/5/2017] work and boot well with 256 kingspec ssd.
Just new install from command dos with advance option
April 9, 2018 at 3:59 pm #141691your bios (locked or not) will only recognize a proper uefi partitioned ssd with windows 10 or linux correct installed. any wrong prepared ssd will not show up in the boot selection!
So mostly your ssd is not defect, it is just not prepared the proper way.
Because a bus is a bus it has comply to certain standards, there is no Jumper special version what required special cards.
I spend a few days to educate myself and made enough mistakes, but that is what you have to do to understand what works and what not.
I am still learning how the “boot anything from usb” works, so far I made a lot of mess (windows 7) but also some progress. I got a image of win 8.1 from a HP Stream to run on my jumper, with sound , touch pad, wifi, usb and all the programs what the HP was running.Sometimes you just have to jump in and try…

This person managed to add a M2 to a Beelink AP34 with windows installed on the M2 by using Ubuntu to play with settings.
Without that the M2 could not be booted off of.
The person also wiped the eMMc, Which bothers me a bit if drivers are hard to come by.

April 12, 2018 at 8:41 am #141857first thing with a new running pc is to make a driver dump via doubledriver and put it on an external storage, then you mirror the internal drive via minitool partition wizard or equal on a 32/64GB (depends on your emmc) usb3 (usb2 is also possible) drive. with your drivers safe and an clone of the original OS and setup you can start playing around.
It has been posted and explained here a lot of times, just read through the entries.
