Linux on Atom based devices

Yeah Lubuntu is light weight but I really don’t like the UI/desktop design of it (LXDE).  I prefer the XFCE desktop which is also fairly light-weight.
So this would be a distro like Xubuntu or my current favorite Manjaro XFCE (but dunno how hard it is to get running on an Atom/cherry-trail device).
Using a lighter browser like Falkon will also help.  My favorite is Vivaldi but it uses a lot of memory like the others. So I use Falkon if I want a lighter browser that still runs (most) websites OK, including Youtube.

Should i then “install” ‘isorespin.sh‘ file or no ? Or this file is just build in this iso ?

How it work ? Sorry i am total noob.

I have a Teclast X98 Plus A5C6, stuck in Windows Automatic Repair boot loop.

I’m seriously considering trying Linux, as Windows 10 drives the tablet to its limits. Are there any suggestions?
