Yes, 100% I have one order I hope to have it late next week. As for Tesco Mobile 4G, it will work it has LTE band 20 and many other popular bands, almost global coverage apart from some odd U.S. bands.

I ordered it from here: https://tradingshenzhen.com/ they seem to have the lowest prices now and pretty quick to send it out so started to use them for my phones. Aliexpress is around $40 USD more.
Really hard to get a definitive on those 4g specs.

Sadly tradingshenzen has run out of stock already. That said, I think I’d rather wait for your critique of the beast before parting with cash. It’s actually for my other half. Shes had a thing for giant phones for years now.
We’ve been through two of those early Asus Tablet phones, the Fonepads, and now the Lenovo Phab Plus with a 16:9 ratio 6.8″ HD screen. It’s been pretty OK, but it’s really showing its age now and it’s stuck on Android 5. Definitely time for an upgrade I think. I was really hoping that the rumours of a version of the Mi Max 3 running the 710 chipset was going to be true. Seems not?
cheers

July 20, 2018 at 8:42 pm #144657Hi,
I’m a UK resident and was wondering the best/reliable place to get the Xiaomi mi max 3. Does it matter if I order the chinese version or should I wait for the global version?

Try Aliexpress sellers Goldway Hong Kong and Honor are good. I’ve used them many times before. Global version might be a few months away, the Chinse version has English.

I was hopeful for the SD710 model. But now the Mi Max 3 Pro is just 6GB RAM and 128GB. But still the SD636 I have on my Redmi Note 5 and it’s still great and a step up over my SD625 in the Mi Max 2. I should have my Mi Max 3 end of the week I hope.

Hi,
It would be nice to have a comparison between the Mi Pad 4 and the Mi Max 3.
I am interested to buy one of the two particularly to watch videos (movies, TV shows, etc.). In this regard, which of the two has a better screen, quality but also shape (16:10 of Mi Pad 4 vs 18:9 of Mi Max 3)?
Thanks
July 21, 2018 at 9:08 am #144671Hi,
I’ve seen that geekbuying are offering a decent price for Xiaomi mi max. Has anyone got any feedback about purchases made from them? Such as feedback on delivery ect.
I’m planning to buy the Xiaomi mi max 3 but I’m not sure whether it’s reliable
Thanks in advance
July 21, 2018 at 1:49 pm #144676Seems to be back in stock on Tradingshenzen
July 21, 2018 at 1:52 pm #144677…so about GBP240 at the moment for the 64GB/4GB RAM version on TradingShenzen. Doesn’t seem too bad but I think I will wait for the expert view before committing 🙂
Chris, please touch on whether you get hit for additional taxes with TS delivery when it arrives…
Cheers
Ralph
July 21, 2018 at 1:57 pm #144678Goldway are selling them on Aliexpress but seem to be a bit more pricey. GBP264.62 + 20.30 DHL delivery taking 30 to 38 days… That’s the base model
July 21, 2018 at 2:01 pm #144679Geekbuying is GBP249.98 for the base model with free delivery. Never bought from these guys though so no experience of how reliable they are?
July 21, 2018 at 2:18 pm #144680Hi Ralph,
I think I’m going to wait for the review of the mi max 3 before purchasing it.
If I were to order form trading Shenzhen, have you had any personal experience with them? Are they reliable?
Thanks in advance
July 21, 2018 at 2:28 pm #144681Nope. Never used them. I’ve successfully ordered the Cube i9 (which Chris reviewed) via GearBest and again for the Mi A1 for my kids. I also find that there’s an Ireland based eBay trader that sells a lot of Chinese kit at a modest premium over China prices. However, right now the cheapest eBay seller is selling at GBP100 more than TradingShenzen on eBay UK. That’s far too much of an ‘idiot tax’ for my tastes…
I have used Oppomart to buy my Oneplus 5T and that, eventually, arrived… I’m not sure I’d recommend them.
Cheers
Ralph
