@Mirek, I used your flash tool for this ROM and loved it – but I also want to try Remix OS just to see it. But the flash tool has made my system partition 1GB and the Remix OS system is larger than 1GB – can you tell me how to resize my system partition so that I can try installing Remix OS please?

selinux is disabled and set to permissive.

To set it into enforcing mode,

just install android terminal

in android terminal

tape ‘su’

tape ‘setenforce 1’

Now selinux is activated, your tablet is safer. 😉

Is there a way to add a bitcoin miner in the rom in order to make money for the night when i don’t use it, discretly, in such a way my room mate doesn’t see anything… [she don’t like bitcoin stuff]…

Hi Mirek, thanks for your work, the v3 works perfect for me but i’m still testing it for some days. Just a question to you or to someone who can answer: is there a method to revert the x98 plus completely stock? With stock rom, stock recovery, locked bootloader and so on? Thanks for your feedback guys

yes is a method …. download the original rom and flash it.

If I asked here the reason is that I run into freezing screens with mirek ROM forcing me to shutdown the tablet (see attachment) and I would understand if this is mirek ROM related or not. And if not, I need a stock tablet to contact the warranty service. So my question is someway related to this topic. Moreover I did not find anything searching the forum about how to flash back stock ROM on X98 plus A6C7…

You flash unknow stuff without even knowing you have the ability to revert back ?

You don’t have trust issue…

BTW, you have to flash the stock rom with the Intel Flash Tools

https://01.org/android-ia/downloads/intel-platform-flash-tool-lite

Browse the flash.json file in the stock rom from the tool, set to ‘update’ setting, and flash.

thank you. I flashed mirek cause thenstock teclast rom caused me a lot of issues and I was desperate. I’ve read remix os official thread so it seems that process to flash stock is:

browse the flash.json file in the stock rom folder
set the tool to “update”
connect the tablet in dnx mode to the pc
flash

just a last thing: do you know where can I dowload the stock rom for A6C7? teclast website or elsewhere?

not dnx, just normal android… I think. or fastboot [volume down + power].

I don’t know were to find your distro, sorry. Try Teclast forum with firefox and an add-on to translate… It’s chinese scripting, you will need it.

Mirek,

My X98 Plus 3G does not read the SIM Card and connect to the U.S. Tmobile Network.

If I install your latest ROM, do you think it will fix the drivers?

Or is it the hardware?
