It gives me error opening the camera, someone else with him? Thanks for the job.

<!–more–> Which model do you own?? I’m pretty sure you have the new A6C7 and not the A5C8 that this ROM has made for…

Obviously, you’re right, my fault, sorry

I have A6C7 version. The 2.1 Mirek ROM worked fine except for the cameras. So I tried flashing 2.1 Mirek ROM, swapping the boot.img file for this one… and now Android doesn’t boot at all, the screen remains stuck on the teclast logo. Boot menu and Windows are fine. On a side note, my stock Windows also has issues with camera: every time I switch cameras I get an error saying that ‘Something went wrong’ (when I dismiss it the camera does switch, though). I can take screenshots with both cameras, but not record videos. I get error code 0xA00F425D (0x80070057). I tried updating the camera driver (it downloaded an updated version automatically and now I’m on version 21.10154.6044.496) but no improvements. Looking forward to a new Mirek version for our A6C7!

does it works with the Mirek’s Rom??… Just replace and reflash??

yes i think ! you can try just make a backup for sure

I have the same problem, the tablet does not pass the logo Teclast

I went through the whole Mirek’s flashing procedure (clean install), using the provided boot.img instead of mirek’s. If I’m doing it wrong, and someone can provide some tips as to how to flash only this file, I’ll be glad to test and post results 🙂

btw – I was playing with the TRWP today and fixed some bugs in it like not working navigation buttons and fixed mount points.

If you only update Android, I don’t think so.

After a few days the ROM looks and works great. Suggestions for future versions:

Programmable keys (I like to long press square on my one plus one to go to previous app)

Close all apps button on recent apps.

    My mods v2.

Use Root Explorer for all modifications.

    What i did,

-Removed Battery Percentage(only disabled from SystemUI,not from Settings) Added 3Minit Battery Mods.

    -Added Network Speed Meter

Download : Mirek Mod by Yasar

    Howto:

Firstly important; Backup your(Copy anywhere) Settings.apk and SystemUI.apk anywhere.

1.Extract zip any folder on your Android

    2.Copy 3MinitBatterySettings.apk and MinitBatteryResources.apk to /system/priv-app/ folder and chmod 644

    3.Copy Settings.apk to /system/priv-app/Settings/ folder and chmod 644

    4.Copy SystemUI.apk to /system/priv-app/SystemUI/ folder and chmod 644

    5.Reboot

6.Customize Speed Meter from Android Settings/Display

7.Open 3Minit Battery Settings app from your Launcher and go to App Settings. Set size adjustment to what you want. I advise to use -5

8.Go to Selection again and select Battery Image.

    9.Thats all.

(Modded only for 3 button navigation bar.)

Has anyone managed to get SixAxis working with this rom? Wired or via Bluetooth? I can’t get it to detect my PS4 controller. Works with my other android devices no problem….

Otherwise, great work. Thanks! So much better than stock!

Download a PS3/PS4 controller app through GooglePlay, the mod has root access.

I realise that. I’m using SixAxis I also tried this but neither of them detect the pad when plugged in via USB OTG.

Sixaxis Enabler says the ROM may not have the necessary files.

    Any ideas?

    Hey,

first thanks to the guys here supporting all the questions….

I will receive my X98 today and want to flash the mirek custom rom right away.

I read about problems during flashing if the files are not on root of the flashing device.

Is a subfolder ok or have the files and 2 directories to be on c: ?

Also it would be nice to know if the flash software supports Windows 7 and 10?
