X98Pro DualOS – Shipped?

oh, i’m aware that they are lying to me since the beginning 🙂

I will be more kind if they were correct with us. But now, I just want this tablet (from GB, BG, Ali, GeekBuying…) and I will just close my fuc*king Gearbest account. They just had to say “it’s not in stock” and don’t take hundred of orders. But thanks to Paypal, they will pay for their mistake.

I ordered on Gearbest on Sept 11th and still nothing.
This is what I received from them today:

We are sorry for this delay. 

However, your order is in stock, our QC department is doing the Quality Control for the products that you have ordered. 

Please wait 3-7 business days and we will make sure it in well condition before we send it out.

It will take 7-15 business days to come to you after we send it out.

It puts me past Paypal buyer protection if it takes 7 days for QC and 15 business days to ship.

Yea you definitely should cancel. I’m most likely going to depending on how they respond to my newest ticket tonight.

 

That’s the first line of BS they gave me, that is was in “quality checking” for a week.

When a week had passed they told me they were waiting to be re-stocked… -_-

They can’t even keep their lies straight and all they had to do was look at how they replied to me previously.

Not only are they lying but they don’t even care that it’s obvious!

If it doesn’t ship tomorrow, I’m canceling mine. Not sure what is going on with them, in the past they have shipped quickly, but my last X98 Air 3G order was slow to ship and the X98 Pro.

It’s happening everywhere, my X2 Pro has just shipped after 3 week of waiting (apparently in-stock when ordered) this was an Aliexpress order as no one else is selling the X2 Pro it seems.

Pre-order at “special price”.. after pre-order it´s cheaper?!?

No delivery information (except yours now).
I mean, it´s been 2 weeks since the pre order stopped.. and to wait 1 more week for them to get it then send it.. I think I would have gotten it in december.

My GearBest X98 Pro hasn’t shipped yet either. Was ordered  on the 3rd at Gearbest , and not happy! They are just stalling, with contradicting messages till now. Yesterday they informed me again that will take another 7 to 15 days to deliver.

They stopped replying to my ticket about the X98 Pro shipping date. It appears that their idea of customer service is to lie to customers to try to stop them from canceling and when they have run out of lies they simply stop responding…

From Gearbest this morning : “About your order, We expect to receive the goods in one week.” (since the 14th Sept!).

I cancelled my order, waiting for a refund.

Instead of buying this ghost tablet, I bought X98 Air 3G on banggood for 159 euros (- 5 euros cashback).

it’s less powerfull than X98 Pro but 60 euros less expensive, more battery life (about 2h according to Chris), less heating, 3G support… for my use (Watch movie and browse internet), I think it’s a better choice (or I’m just trying to convince myself :D). My only worry is about the 2Gb ram “only”.

I’ve put in a request to cancel mine too, really disappointed in GearBest on this one. Normally they are very good. They clearly have stock issues on this model as an Air 3G air went out two days after ordering that I ordered on the 26th.

The X98 Air 3G is a great model and one of the best tablet still out of China. With newer models shipping with Android 5 and Windows 10 (but some still have Android 4.4.4 and Win 10) It’s got a new lease of life. The X98 Pro is only faster really when it comes to gaming (Approx twice as fast)

For now it would seem Banggood.com are the best at shipping out orders. All of my orders have shipped within 2-3 days.

I called Paypal and opened a dispute. Although Paypal said they have till the 10th to provide a tracking number. Is there a better way to cancel this order? As it stands now i cant buy from another location or i may end up with two tablets.

Put in a refund request through GearBest and not Paypal. I got my return from Paypal within 24 hours.
