Bro I got u, but since one of the files must be extracted and used eventually, why then to I need yo download the 4 files? Pls help, I don’t have enough data.
Ask a friend to download THE. FOUR. FILES.
November 7, 2016 at 6:25 pm #56559The files are for the H5C5 model by the time they were published.
Thank God that Teclast FINALLY understood the problem on hosting the files on a Chinese-restricted server.May 21, 2016 at 6:43 am #38081First, I don’t collect Chinese tablets.
Second, the BIOS has been configured to launch first the partition containing the choice screen. So, even if you get rid of the Android partitions, you will still have this screen unless you choose to hide it, but it’s dirty. Moreover, if you wanted a Windows-only tablet, you should have gone with an HP Stream 7″ or 8″ (which I own).
Third, you did NOT read the first post where I clearly wrote that the only way to restore an X80Plus is with the link in OP. Therefore, neither retail DVD, nor MediaCreationTool.exe.
May 12, 2016 at 6:43 am #36919Can this be done without the USB hub somehow? Thanks!
Just think a bit on how you would boot on the USB drive without keyboard or without USB drive. You will have the answer.
hi , i have tried to follow the steps one by one , the only differences are that im using a normal usb hub (no self powered) and the usb drive is 32 gb formatted with the default fat parameters of windows 10 .
when i push the override boot with the usb a blue screen appears for less than a second and returns to the bios again.
Am i doing something wrong? .
Thanks in advance .
That’s strange. Keep trying.
April 19, 2016 at 7:21 am #34217Othe option is try to run a hiren’s boot or similar and try to format the unpartitioned disk. It’s that possible?
No.
April 18, 2016 at 3:24 pm #34089Ouch, I think it is better to reinstall Android first and then Windows.
April 18, 2016 at 12:21 pm #34059“Did you even bother to READ this screen?”
E240-185, thanks for your answer but, i can’t understand very well. I don’t understand the attached screen. I think than the problem is with the internal storage (eMMC), but i don’t know to be to restore this and solve the problem.
Very thanks for your help!!!
Did you unplug the USB drive just after it booted to the recovery system?
April 18, 2016 at 8:12 am #34031hello friends, starting to get a little desperate with this subject so I encourage you to help me. trying to remove android, delete the Windows boot partition, so that the only thing that appeared to me to start was a screen android pick, I guess some android partition not deleted. following the steps in the tutorial, after the mistake I have to force pressing f7 for me to start USB and came back to the installation screen Windows, but instead of continuing with the installation me a screen command line appears How is it going. Do you can help me please? thank you very much
Did you even bother to READ this screen?
How did you guys clear all the windows partitions.. what did you use?? How do you manage the partitions on a pc??
Also besides the windows partion and I belevie a recovery partion.. are there any other windows partions?. Can you detail please as i dont want to delete the wrong partitionYou can delete the partitions named SYSTEM (500 Mb), RECOVERY, and the biggest one. They are at the bottom of the list of partitions, so you cannot mess up with Android partitions.
You can do that by booting on a retail DVD of Windows.April 17, 2016 at 5:42 am #33863Will these files work on a tbook 11?? and are they windows 10?
Why it would work?
April 15, 2016 at 6:15 pm #33686Delete all the Windows-related partitions until there subsists one empty partition. Do not touch the Android partitions, though.
April 15, 2016 at 6:02 pm #33682Hi everybody!! I’m stuck in the process. I’ve downloaded and using image from http://www.latelier240.fr/x80plus (thanks! 240-185 user). But have problem during the applying image, only 4% and error 112. There is not enough space on the disk. Any suggestions? at least Android system is Ok, yet.
Did you change the partitions while trying to reinstall Windows by a mean other than the official one?
April 15, 2016 at 6:00 pm #33681Nope, Windows only. Unless you have a Baidu account and register in Teclast forums
You know a guy, right?
Yes. Maybe I will get in touch with him again.
But the Android part is supposed to be left as is and is much more robust than the Windows part. So, if you can’t boot Android anymore, that means you tried to do some witchcraft with your tablet.
April 12, 2016 at 6:09 pm #33200Nope, Windows only.

April 8, 2016 at 4:16 pm #32695Don’t forget to check the CRC32 or MD5 of the files. My Internet connection was a bit funky.
