AlexAugust 6, 2016 at 8:54 am #45850Hi Alex, with the update of the drivr, do we still need to change the bLeisurePs parameter?
Haven´t tried that yet. But I found out, that a switch from 20_40mHz to only 20mHz slows down the performance but stabilize the connection.

August 3, 2016 at 9:42 pm #45508Maybe a working Wifi fix! Testing…
Hey guys, after the well known wifi issues / dropout´s I´m still testing the following driver and registry hack on Win10.
First check if you have the original Driver version 3008.28.201.2016 date 22.02.2016 installed. Then regedit:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002bE10318}\000X
(X may be one of 0 / 1 / 2 … )
Search for and change the value of bLeisurePs from 2 to 0.
Then disable and re-enable the wireless interface in Device Manager. The bLeisurePs = 0 should stop the driver to go into idle mode.
Maybe thebattery is more needed? But till now it seems that the WiFi is working without dropouts.
Still testing a view more days.By the way, Is your Speaker volume on Win10 to low.
Try the Intel HD Audio driver of Microsoft´s Surface 3.

Yes, that will work and boost your Volume. 😉As always do it on your own risk.
