My iWork10 (type C) came with Windows 10 Home too (preactivated) and I could install the spanish language pack.
June 1, 2017 at 10:51 pm #67694How many output amps has that charger? I recommend you to use one with 2A (or more) output capable.
PS: I found funny that EU-plug chargers are sent to USA, and US-plug to Europe xD My tablet came with US-plug charger and a EU adapter.
April 23, 2017 at 6:56 pm #65904Hi Chris, my tablet has the same number of partitions so there is nothing wrong.
I suppose that Android needs most of those partitions (boot, system, recovery, etc) and the rest should be for windows (at least 2) and maybe 1 for tablet dual boot.
Anyway, this shouldn’t affect on any OS installation.
About free space, I think I had around 25-30gb free on first boot… if you have 16-17gb and nothing installed then you should try to empty trash, temporary files and system temporary files (mainly from updates).
April 22, 2017 at 3:52 pm #65848Hi all!
I finally got my stylus this week and I have spent a couple of days with some light tests.
It works fine from the 1st minute, no need to activate or configure anything. Just plug the AAAA battery and touch the screen.
I have tested it just with 2 applications: one note and Xodo (a free PDF editor like Drawboard). No troubles for a simple use: fast annotations or highlight some text in PDFs.
In the other hand, I have some minor issues with the pointer precission when doing a slow writing/drawing. Maybe its a calibration problem but I’m not sure if it’s due to a stylus defect.
If I leave the stylus over the screen without moving it at all, the pointer makes some erratics movements around the current position. It looks like my hand would be a like bit shaking.
Something similar occurs when I try to draw a simple line at slow speed. The result is a “nervous” line. However if I draw the same line at fast speed it looks very nice (I mean fast speed as a swipe gesture speed). This doesn’t allow an accurate drawing.
Don’t know if it’s a isolated problem of my stylus but I’m happy enough with it because I don’t intend to draw with it, just notes and some PDF annotations.
PD: I’ll try to upload a screenshot with the problem I talk about.
April 5, 2017 at 10:30 am #64677I just got my tablet and stylus(chuwi hipen too) today. Its generally decent and it works but I have this particular issue. My stylus goes haywire when charging and the palm rejection doesnt work. Only when charging though. It works fine on battery. Can you tell me if you have the same issues? Thank you! Edit: mostly its the palm rejection that doesnt work when charging which. My stylus is working fine when im charging if my palm isnt resting on the screen. Also is your charging extremely slow?
Hi Adithya,
It’s good to know that the stylus works fine except when the tablet is charging. I’m still waiting my stylus to arrive but I’ll test it and write down here the results.
About charging, yes, it takes a long time. I have the typeC variant and use a 4-port charger hub (2.4A max) and takes around 4-5h for a full charge (starting at 10%). As I usually charge it while I sleep, it’s not an inconvenience for me.
April 1, 2017 at 1:47 am #64374Hi Scott!
I have recently ordered a iWork10 compatible stylus (Chuwi Hipen H1) around 16€. I never used a stylus before but I’ll be glad to write here my impressions when I receive it (hopefully within next 2 weeks).
October 14, 2016 at 4:22 pm #54891That happened with Windows? Maybe a driver problem…
October 12, 2016 at 10:42 pm #54783It’s great to read that you could set your language and understand what is on screen now 🙂
October 7, 2016 at 8:47 pm #54466Hi Chris,
The first time I booted my tablet into android I found Chinese as default language but I changed to Spanish inside settings>language (actually there is a large list, as a regular android device) and it remains everytime I switch to android.
Hope you can do the same in your tablet.
