I was only able to acquire a 4500mah battery from the seller. Tried another seller and told me the same. The battery I received is less wide than the original (about 10mm less) so I assume they can at least make a slightly larger 5000 to 5500 mah version. Anyone know of any source to get more than 4500mah?
May 17, 2017 at 6:01 pm #67097The keyboard (cdk09) is quite heavy but feels solid and types great. Would prefer it to have an extra accu, and don’t care for the trackpad (doesn’t work).
I agree about the track pad. Ended up buying a mouse. I think the problem is the trackpad is too close to the keyboard particularly the space bar. I tend to accidentally touch it with my thumbs when I’m hitting the space bar and the cursor goes all over the place. Luckily there’s a keyboard button to quickly disable the track pad.
May 17, 2017 at 5:47 pm #67095You should measure the charge time from 0% to 100% because the time to charge the first 20% (starting at 0%) of the battery is probably not the same as to charge the last 20% (starting at 80%) of the battery.
I charged with the iclever at 64% battery remaining vs the OEM charger at 67% remaining so I assumed that was good enough. Will try you suggestion when I have more time. Thanks for the input.
UPDATE: Charged the cube with the iclever from 2% remaining at 11:25am. Fully charged at 1:17pm. Total time of 1 hour and 52 minutes.
May 16, 2017 at 10:34 pm #67058Hi everyone! I’m very interested in buying this tablet, but I have some questions about it: the first one is about the keyboard, I’ve often read that is heavy and not very comfortable so is there one similar to the cube i9? Second I don’t know where to buy at the lowest price because either banggood and heartbeat say that all the coupons are expired. If you have any tips or advice about this tablet let me know! Thanks.
Gear best has been having a flash sale seems every week.

I bought mine 3 weeks ago at $309. Was $299 a week before that but missed that sale. Last week it was at $319. Unfortunately this week it’s at $379. I would check them every week.
The weight of the kb is 1.13lb + cube 1.89lb. Total weight is 3.02lb. If you are really desperate to shave weight on the keyboard, then maybe try the kb mod below.

May 16, 2017 at 10:25 pm #67056Do you mean that the iclever takes 44 minutes to charge the remaining 33%? My original charger takes about 2 hours (full charge), and the same with the innergie 45W charger. I measured the 45W charger using a usb-c pd analyser and it’s running at 20V (at less than 1A with the tablet powered off).
Yea it said 44 min to charge the rest of the remaining 33%. But I timed it and it actually fully charged in about 25 min. I have no tool to really measure the actual voltage output, but based off the 25 min to charge 33% then I can assume it would only take no more than 1 hour and 30 min to charge from 0%. I’ll test it again to be sure.
It’s back down to 64% battery left so I will recharge and set a 30 min reminder so I can check how much it goes up in 30 min. The cube is set to sleep in 45 min so during this test it will be on but the screen will be off.
UPDATE: Looks like it only went up to 90% in 30 min. So that’s 26% in 30 min. I’m going to test the OEM charger next. So with the OEM charger, I only went up 15% in 30 min. From 67% to 81%. I’m off work now and will run the same tests again tomorrow but so far it looks like I made a good investment in the iclever.
May 16, 2017 at 7:23 pm #67050I’m sure this will work with i7 as it works great on my Cube Mix Plus. Posted this in the Cube Mix forum. See my post #67044
I just got an iclever fo $12.99 (just went up to $14.99) USD that charges at 5V/3A, 9V/2A, 15V/ 2A, 20V/1.5A( Max.30W) via usb C and right now I’m at 77% and with OEM charger it shows 1 hour 21 min to fully charge. But with the iclever it’s 44 min. This thing is small and very portable which is exactly what I wanted. It’s about 2 inches by 1 inches. But this has just 1 port which is usb C. Will post pictures in a bit.

Also using this usb C to C 10 foot cable with the iclever. The cable is fairly thick seems to be a great quality one.

May 16, 2017 at 6:30 pm #67036Is this necessary? I haven’t really seen any issue using Cubes version.
