I’m going to assume that you are the only one doing any development with this tablet? Which is fine either way, it just let’s me know once I get my tablet, how long the wait will be or expect for custom ROMs. Thanks again.

I have the same problem. The flatcable makes a sharp bend and is pretty hard to remove from the connector. I wanted to look behind the motherboard to see if something was broken there, since the USB2 port is dead and had to disconnect the power/volume flatcable and it tore. My own fault. But still something that should be fixable. So I asked Chuwi support where I could buy one.

lastic or metal, doesn’t matter, have Hi12 with both plastic and metal keyboard, HiBook Pro with metal keyboard, my next Chuwi tablet will be with Bluetooth keyboard and mouse
