Yesterday, when the tablet was low on power, the top went berserk, I could see several touches (thanked to Show Touches) at the same time and somehow that let me use the top again which means the problem was fixed, I also heard a strange tune coming from the tablet, repeated every minute (?) (I made sure it wasn’t from any apps I have installed)… and then after charging it fully, the problem came back.

On Windows, I noticed a ! mark near the SD card storage controller in Device Manager, I think that is the problem, I tried updating, reinstalling it but no use, it says the driver has an I/O problem or st (?).

I ended up deleting Windows and   using all the space for Android no root, the sd card rarely dismounts itself anymore.

I don’t have tools to crack it open unfortunately, but it’s not too bad I can use gesture to pull down notify center

You should flash the latest android firmware from Chuwi.

Guess I’m lucky, I got my chuwi hi8 pro after one week of shipping from Gearbest (china warehouse + expedited shipping + insurrance). Their CS is fine but I don’t like how they just copy paste the answers (some are long and too much unneccesary info).
