I totally agree with Nicola and eGuru.

I would never recommend to anyone to buy this crap. And I guess all these chinese “brands” are the same.

Can someone confirm the functionality of the update?
    eg. better benchmark values?
I’m just curious if this update really makes sense..

There is no problem with installing a pure Win 10.

I did it with my A6C9 (X98 Plus 3G). Just use the drivers from download section and search in this forum for detailed description.

If the search in this forum wouldn’t be so bad, i would have searched it for you 🙂

For the windows key use the backup tool from download section, it extracts the activation key.

does android recognize the card if you insert or remove it
In my case, I could not see the card in file explorer, but i could format it in settings > Storage.
After formatting it in Android, it could be used in Win + Android

Did you install the teclast drivers?
Check if there are unknown devices in device manager and install drivers if needed.
If i remember correct, screen rotation worked for me only after installing the teclast drivers.

Yes, I did the same like kvn, Windows from microsoft, drivers from here.

I also have a tempered glass protector ( which is not installed yet) but dont’t think this will help with glare.

Maybe this thread helps you (http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/x98-plus-screen-protector-matte/)

Windows activation worked without doing anything.

Thanks Eko, I already downloaded it 🙂

After a reboot, the cameras are working and 3G is also available – nice 😀

If everything stays stable, I will keep this installation and go on with installing mireks android rom.

    Thanks a lot guys!

The installation would be fin if i had 3G and the cameras.

Maybe I will flash the original image, do a driver and key backup and after that do a fresh install.

Or maybe the drivers of A6C9 will be posted here..

BTW: the touchsettings file gives an amazing improvement in responsiveness

Ok, i managed to install a fresh windwos 10.

however there are still some issues:

    • couldn’t install Intel AVStream camera
    • none of the cameras works
    • no 3G available (no driver)
    • no app to boot directly to Android

So would it be possible to get the doubledriver backup from A6C9 as well as the boot to android app ?

    Hi,
i think best way is to use factory reset to clean all your data and accounts. (Settings > Backup & Reset > Factory Reset)
After this you start the system and enter the account of your wife. Then you can download all apps from playstore again.
I dont’t think this will harm the system, I did this several times with android devices (but not with the X98 plus yet)

I was not able to get the download manager, the download was very slow and broke after 0,2 MB.
So i thought it’s easier to ask here..

    Hi Eko,

I wanted to flash these files because my Win installation is messed up.
    (see http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/win10-reset-questions/#post-39047)

    Thanks for your help.

    Yes, android is still working,
however it does random reboots, so i’m thinking of flashing the original teclast files (Win + Android).
Anyway, i wanted to use mireks rom, but before I wanted to have a proper dualboot system.

The partitioning of the storage is very confusing, so i’m not sure which partitions to kill.
But good to hear that you faced the same issues, so mayb I will play with the windows installation – and in case the whole system is messed up, flash the original teclast files.
Did you use a partition manager to delete/create the partitions or just the windwos installation tool?

    Hi Eko,
I would prefere Googledrive or Mega.
    Did you flash this files?
