Well after using it for a while a few things to be said, the wifi is absolute rubbish on it. I have a 1024 mb/s upload and download connection and get maybe 14 down and 20 up on the tablet. The screen has small marking on it like scratches, so I thought maybe it had a screen protector on it so I tried to feel with my fingernail on the corner of the tablet…something started to peel up but I’m starting to think it isn’t a protector so I stopped, but it is now messed up. Tablet gets hot, I haven’t run benchmarks yet but it could probably do with a better heatsink.

Preordered hi8 pro, after a month I canceled it, they would only refund the money to the in store wallet, after this was done they said they could refund it to a paypal account, so I told them to do that. They said ok and closed my ticket. On the 11th the in store credit was missing and it showed that the refund was completed and it is now the 16th and I still do not have the money in my account. The ticket I submitted about this has been ignored for 2 days as well, so lesson learned and fare warning to all with gearbest.com

Yeah they replied to my message saying 15 days. What a joke…should probably cancel my order soon.

Same bullshit for me, no real answers from gearbest told me it would ship in 3 days, its been a week. The site now says they are on preorder again until December the 10th. Don’t really feel like waiting that long.

I put in a ticket with gearbest, they replied not saying anything about a delay and that my product would ship within 3-5 days of changing to “processing”. We shall see.

That’s weird, I ordered mine a few weeks ago on gearbest and it was delayed once from the 14th to the 20th. A few hours ago my order actually changed to processing and I have received no message about a further delay.

There is a cube i7 core m review on the xda forums that says it has dual band wifi Chris are you able to confirm or deny this? Have you tried to use something like this on a tablet?

This would allow for a cheap Chinese tablet and the ability I need for 5ghz streaming. Though I am not sure what kind of requirement this thing would need other than the full size usb.

I have seen one site list the cube i6 wifi edition as have 5ghz but I doubt its legit.
