Hi all. A fresh installation of Windows 10 Home did it for me. No more freezing when plugged in. Besides, I didn’t even need to reinstall the drivers… Windows found them all.

It is definitely IPS, the exact same panel as my old Tbook4. I’ve been using my 3L PRO for 3 weeks now and was quite surprised when I received my unit. I was expecting a TN panel as seen in some reviews of the 3L PRO and 3 PLUS. So I assume Jumper released a new and improved version of the 3L PRO just like they did with the 3 PRO…

I bought mine in GeekBuying, for the record. Cheers!

Hi guys. I don’t Ā have my Z2 anymore, but I solved the problem by calibrating the battery (which is recommended to do every 2-3 months).

Follow these instructions on how to manually calibrate the battery:

How to Calibrate Your Laptop’s Battery For Accurate Battery Life Estimates

The Z2 has a battery calibration problem, so even when it shuts down when reaching the minimum battery level, DO NOT PLUG IT IN YET. Turn it back on and keep using it. You will notice the battery level will stay atĀ ZERO for the following 2-3 hours. Then, when it shuts down for the second time, you may plug it in and charge it up to 100%.

Even though you may think the problem is sorted out after doing this, it’s more than likely to come up again. So keep recalibrating until the issue is finally solved or keep in mind that the measures are not real. If it shows 6000 – 7000mWh, you still have 3h of use at 0% after it shuts down for the 1st time.

IMPORTANT: Don’t mess with BIOS. You might brick your laptop.

I would suggest you send it back to the seller for a refund if possible… It is unacceptable a device that price has so many flaws. PayPal will refund the return shipping cost, at least here in Spain…

Even if price drops in the near future, I will wait until I read the problems have been eventually solved in future batches in order to get one. As I said, I am very happy with my current V3 Z8300, which is working great so far. I wouldn’t dare to fresh install Windows due to the lack of official drivers, but what’s insane is to loose the drivers just by performing a factory reset -which is the first thing I do out of the box, otherwise I won’t be able to download the Spanish language package for some reason…-

I’m currently waiting on my first Voyo A1 Plus Ultimate, which has the same specs as the V3 Z8300 but with an 11.6″ display.

Wow, sad to hear that… This was meant to be my next purchase when prices dropped a little. Actually, I just received my second V3 Z8300 (june 2016 batch) and it has a TOSHIBA emmc, just like the Jumper Ezbook 2’s. Reading and writing times have improved a lot compared to the previous batches. It definitely feels more snappy. After calibrating the battery, it won’t charge past 98% (I can live with that). On the other hand, the charging time has also improved (5h vs. 12h sometimes). Now I can see how the battery keeps charging while on use.

They have also implemented the 2 fingers gesture to move sideways in the trackpad, working fine. But still gestures can’t be disabled at all…

I hope that Voyo solves all the issues of the V3 M3 in next batches. They certainly did with the V3 Z8300.

Hi, guys. You can disable the 2-finger gesture in Chrome by installing an extension called “No MouseWheel Zoom”:

After installing, go to extension settings and make sure that “allow access to file url’s” is checked. Then refresh Chrome.

I entered the BIOS and reverted the graphic settings to stock (as I had changed some parameters) and the battery % shows OK now.

The thing is I was only getting 5h of working time with a full charge (which made me think that battery life was really poor compared to my Voyo Vbook V3’s, which used to last up to 8h). So I have just installed BatteryBar and it shows the battery capacity is 7800mWh instead of 10800mWh!!!

Now I am not sure if this is some sort of system limitation or my Jumper’s battery is just defective. Any ideas? I have already written Gearbest about this.

I entered the BIOS to increase the GPU dedicated ram. I’m a bit of a noob here, so I hope I did it right. There’s a parameter in Video ConfigurationĀ called “IGD – DVMI Pre-Allocated” which a swtiched from 32 to 256. Is that correct? Should I change something else?
