I have already download those drivers & the BIOS is not included.- At least not that I could find anyway.
September 4, 2019 at 6:41 pm #181618Can someone please repost a link to the BIOS? One that is actually usable. http://www.cube-tablet.com/download this link is of no use if you don’t speak Chinese. What a SHITY company with piss pour service. Another reason NOT to purchase a product from one of these manufactures.
January 15, 2017 at 4:02 am #60454I just received mine last week and re-installed windows last weekend without an issue. Nothing would surprise me though.
I would take pictures of the whole tablet showing the screens. Then file a dispute with the vender. They should be able to give you a product key that works.
January 14, 2017 at 6:10 pm #60430Sorry my previous post had typo, mailman dropped 20×20 0,5mm copper shims, Silicone heatsink paster and 0,5mm cooling pads today, just before christmas ^_^
- Removed stock cooler and removed thermal pad
- “Attached” copper shim on cpu with silver paste, ajusted so that it doesnt touch anything (because its bigger than CPU)
- Put some thermal glue on stock cooler bumb
- Screwed stock cooler back in place, waited the glue to dry out (~15mins)
- Removed stock cooler, checked that copper shim came with it. Yes, it was glued properly and positioned properly
- Cut and attached cooling pad to stock cooler
- Screwed cooler back in and assembled tablet
I managed to break side of battery connector. One of the pins is exposed but it seems to stay in securely enouhg. Hope that black wire is ground, though there is no loose stuff inside anyways. I attached screenshot of XTU showings during 3D Mark 11 performance test before and after mod. It seems that my mod was successfull, there is 19C difference with peak te mps. Its not long and torough test though.
After the mod, how does the casing of the tablet feel when doing things like surfing, watching video’s etc? Since I won’t be benchmarking 24/7, I don’t care about high casing temperature during that, but I would like to be able to hold the tablet without burning my hands when doing regular things.
I purchased both 1mm & 0.5mm shims not knowing. I will see what it looks like tomorrow when I crack mine open. I wasn’t quite sure the manufacture used for a heatsink/shield on the processor.
January 13, 2017 at 10:03 pm #60395So is a 0.5mm shim and a 1.0mm thermal pad the way to go?
My plan was to remove the aluminum plate and install the 0.5mm copper shim onto the heat sink. Re-install the aluminum plate. Use a 1.0mm non-conductive thermal pad on top of the aluminum plate. Does the thermal pad need to be glued? I just want to make sure everything is going to still fit together. I don’t want to make a huge project out of this either. I am going to replace the ssd at the sametime. So I want to do this all in one shot.
January 13, 2017 at 9:06 pm #60390I uninstalled the existing driver. Download the Wacom Feel driver and I tried installing ISD_DualTouch_7.3.4-25. However it say a supported tablet was not found.
I went ahead and tried installing the drivers from the website HID class folder. When I try opening the Wacom app it errors with the message “driver not running”. So I tried installing the Wacom Feel drivers again and now it works. However my pen from my Surface Pro 3 does not work but not a big deal.
January 13, 2017 at 7:08 pm #60377Yes, can install the Remix OS. You will have to search for instructions yourself. It should allow you to dual-boot as well.
January 13, 2017 at 7:03 pm #60376Yes, that would void the warranty. These tablets are not meant to be opened unless there is an issue. Then only a service center would be permitted to open the tablet.
I would careful about which site you purchase from. I am currently having issues with Gearbest as my keyboard arrived smashed. I paid for the insurance and expedited shipping. They don’t want to refund me for the extra shipping cost. It is only a few dollars but that’s not the point. I shouldn’t be out anything.
January 13, 2017 at 5:48 am #60336I am not sure what type of USB the Keyboard has. However connecting to the USB 3.0 port on the tablet is much faster. I am not sure this is going to resolve your issue though. File should open from either USB port.
January 13, 2017 at 5:40 am #60335Is it required to install all of the drivers after reloading Windows? I am referring to the one from this site. I have not installed any of the drivers yet and my only issue is that neither of my styluses work.
January 13, 2017 at 4:59 am #60334Thanks, that did the trick.
January 8, 2017 at 11:08 pm #60110I have an Amazon branded 3 port hub. If I were to purchase a USB Type C to USB cable. Would I be able to charge my tablet via the hub?
January 8, 2017 at 8:03 pm #60106So I used the media creation tool to reinstall windows. However when I have done this in the past I booted off the USB stick to do complet the reinstall. I wans’t expecting touch to work after the install. When I reinstalled windows 8 on my Dell Venue Pro 8 touch didn’t work. This was because the drivers needed to be installed.
I found the drivers on the download page. Do I need to istall all of those drivers?
Another question, how much disk space should I have? I currently have 34G free after reinstalling Windows.
January 8, 2017 at 5:57 pm #60082Is there on option in the Bios to be able to boot off the USB? It only gives 2 options under boot priorities. The first option is to boot directly off the SSD and the other UEFI: Built-in EFI shell.
You can go thru updates & security menu within Windows 10 –> Recovery –> Advanced startup –>Use a device. However if you cannot boot into Windows then this will not help.
January 4, 2017 at 8:40 pm #59841Ran into a simular problem with my wifes Surface Pro 3. I bought a 128G Samsung card and it would disappear. I would have to reboot the tablet. I replaced it with a Sandisk 64G card that I had. No issues since but I found that some cards work and some don’t.
