They work fine ,except if you use the usb ports to power external device  it’ll power off on its own.You could disable touch screen in windows to help alleviate the problem . Win10 cannot be restored within the settings .you’ll need to install via usb flash drive. battery power is ok in windows ,not great but for the price  1/8 of a surface nothing like it. Many games playable ,but the new ones run too slow Other than that  you get what you pay for ,maybe more don’t know what to compare to.

Use a win10 usb boot install disk and use the recovery options to restore.

Why yes , You use the win10 image of supplied on this site  copy it to a GPT formated usb boot made with RUFUS tool  .Copy to sources renaming image.wim to image.esd . And install .All the drivers are baked right in (except camera you get that here also) .

You may need to Flash Andriod first and wipe the drive depending on your situation.

Done this many times on Hi8 too

Hi , I had similar problems relating to laggy graphics and game play after aniversary update.

My solution was to revert to the OEM Win 10 , and everything was good again . Until they fix

the Dx9 driver in the updated Build I’m staying put.

Yea!! I restored the oem WIN 10 without using 2 usb sticks and the Chuwi forum procedure .I tried but kept getting the ‘drive not found cannot create directory’ error .

You can install any Win 10 (pro ,home ,8.1 enterprise didn’t work) using Rufus tool and a ISO image of Win 10 .Problem installing other Win10s is its laggy when playing certain games and thats sucks ,The wifi is also spotty also you have to manually install every driver.

To reinstall the original OS you need to download from Chuwi forums http://forum.chuwi.com/thread-15-1-1.html  the WIN 10 firmware in it includes the boot files (usb1) and image( usb2) you only need the image.wim file.

Download an Win 10 installation iso from anywhere (PB is good) . Get the Rufus tool to create a usb bootable win install disk. After you created a bootable

usb disk with your downloaded Win 10 ISO , open the usb to find the folder sources , replace the image.esd with image.wim you downloaded at Chuwi Forums .Rename image.esd to something else since you won’t be using it.rename image.wim to image.esd. Plug it in to your Hi10 and boot to usb  and install .That easy

Hope that helps someone with a serial 421608xxxxx and that can’t install the way instructed at Chuwi Forums.
