Issue solved this is not a hardware problem.
I used the method described in the thread http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/chuwi-vi10-keyboard-problem/
went to bios connected a usb mouse then connected the dock and all started working.
Must be some sort of init process under bios.
My purchase is also from Gearbest…. I dont think this is a hardware issue, will test it today and confirm.
Same issue on my end, received the VI10 Ultimate together with the keyboard dock and it does not work. Will check today the dock with my cousin’s VI10 pro but assume it will work.
