The Transcend MTS400S that Chris uses in the Jumper Ezbook 3 Pro video is actually one of the best, out of the very few that exist. I don’t believe you can use fast NVME drives with it, and pretty much every other 2242 size drive is either NVME, or one of the no-name Chinese brands.

There are MTS420S and MTS430S options as well, which will both be decent quality, but the 420S has no DRAM cache, and curiously neither of them support DevSlp mode. This could mean the older 400S drive has a bit of an advantage in battery life stakes.

I would say 400s > 430s > 420s. Amazon should sort you out, though you may find a cheaper deal on Ebay if you include worldwide listings.

I don’t own one but quite possibly. Test it out – download Throttlestop or Intel XTU and monitor the temperatures. While you have either of those you can also undervolt the CPU to decrease the temperatures and lower power comsumption (very easy and basically risk-free if you do it correctly).

edit: Nevermind – understanding the whole thing takes a bit of research

why cant i find the download link of the app plz some one help ?

Here you go – straight from the source http://rweverything.com/

any chance to make this works on acer aspire es1-533 with n4200? I don’t have cpu power limit 1 option in bios to make it disabled…

Using the above program is a workaround for not having the option in the BIOS, so give it a try. If it doesn’t work then there may be other limits that need more work and in-depth knowledge, but so far everyone seems to have reported that it works okay. It’s really simple, so just download the above program and read the instructions 🙂

Hi, could anyone who owns this tablet tell me if there is the option in the BIOS to remove power limits? Trying to decide what tablet to buy and this would be a pretty big deal if BIOS was unlocked. Thanks in advance!

Hi Chris, you say in your review that it is possible to increase power limits on this. Is that by the RWeverything “mod” or from the BIOS being unlocked? I’ve been trying to find out if you can push the M3 devices in the same way that you’ve been doing to the Apollo Lake chips, and ultimately get the best M3 tablet there is on that basis. The extra performance both on the CPU and GPU vs the N3450 makes the overclocking possibilities even more mouth-watering!

Anyone on here have a 6y30 or 7y30 tablet they could try this out on? I tried it on a Toshiba Ultrabook with an i5 4310u and it didn’t do any harm at all so it should be absolutely fine to try it out. I would try it if I had one!
