I am running the latest 4.2 ROM and the 2.02 bios.
I first upgraded the bios then I flashed the ROM.
It works.
I have had quite a few apps crash though. I will probably move to the new official v5 ROM.August 1, 2015 at 10:31 am #8175I ordered a teclast x98 air II.
It shipped after 2 days with DHL express as requested.
6 days after ordering it was delivered to me in Denmark, in perfect condition.
It was repackaged, a note in the box explained this was to avoid damage. All in all, I am happy with the service, and will use banggood again.
July 19, 2015 at 12:46 pm #7190I used the mft fix, however I copied the files manually.

July 18, 2015 at 8:43 pm #7161I will try it when I get back home – I will give you an update.
July 18, 2015 at 7:14 pm #7151Hi,
I tried the steps, downloaded the new file, un-installed, and re-installed pr. the description.
But I get the same error.
I have tried it on 2 different sets of hardware, one with a fresh installation of windows, and I have tried different USB cables.
Could the device be faulty, or have I bricked it (I thought it was not bricked if you could get to DnX mode, or the Windows Installation on the device.)
On note, if I select repartition it stops at 5%, if I select any of the other choices it dies at 12% (just in case that makes sense).
July 18, 2015 at 10:43 am #7125Hi,
Thanks for the time you spend on this.
“fastboot devices” shows:
“BaytrailE34B53AB fastboot”In Device Manager it shows up as “Intel Android ADB Interface”
I’m not sure which batch to use in DnX mode, I have these batch files:
FLASH from android – FORMAT DATA.bat
FLASH from android – NO DATA FORMAT.bat
FLASH from droidboot – NO DATA FORMAT.bat
FLASH from droidboot- FORMAT DATA.batFrom what I could read it is the “doidboot”.
The script: “FLASH from droidboot- FORMAT DATA.bat”
Gives this:
erasing ‘system’…
FAILED (remote: unknown command)
finished. total time: 0.010ssending ‘system’ (798924 KB)…
FAILED (remote: unknown command)
finished. total time: 69.171s
…..And just continues with more “Failed” messages.
Any advise? As mentioned, I can still boot to Windows, and from there all the Android partitions seems to be there.
July 17, 2015 at 7:13 pm #7113Just and update, I can enter windows by pressing “Volume + and power” and then selecting Windows.
July 17, 2015 at 10:55 am #7105OK – it seems like my windows installation was the issue.
I installed a fresh copy for Win7 and installed the drivers and tool. The flash was progressing, but at 6% it gave “[FAILURE] IFWI flash failure”
I have repeated the process and same issue. Now the tablet will not boot, I can still enter DnX mode (and the bios by pressing ESC on a Keyboard)
Just a note – I wanted to remove Windows, so I used “flash-full_with_REPARTITION” – was that a very bad idea?
Am I lost – or are the hope for my quest for a cleaner Android on my China-Tablet 🙂

I have tried that, but still same error.
It might be my laptop that needs a reinstall, I will create a HDD with a fresh installed win7 – and retry.
I will report back.July 15, 2015 at 8:21 pm #7040Sweet guide – thanks.
I’m trying to flash an HG9M, with the Mirek v4.0 ROM
