Who does only want to change the direction of the touchpad scrolling:

Another easy way to invert the scroll is to go into the device manager, open the “HID-Compliant Mouse” and manually change the driver to “HID-Compliant Mouse (WhFlp). This doesn’t fix anything else but definitely swaps the direction of the two-finger scrolling so it mirrors the Mac. reverse s P.S. Remember to turn off the reverse script if you’re using AutoHotKey!

What do I have to do to enable the “HID-Compliant Mouse (WhFlp)”? Quick instruction would be nice since I dont want to use some external Tools..

    Hi,

is it crucial to unsolder the battery from the board or are there any other ways to do so?

I never used a soldering iron on an electric board, so yeah, I dont fell too confident doing this. And I dont have one on hand at the moment…

If I have to do it anyway, well I think I can do it, but are there important things to take care of?

    Thanks

    Lukas

Has the dual-boot version been sold since launch for 269.99$(-40$) on banggood?

If you want the active stylus, wait for ist to be shipped and tested by someone else. That is what I am doing at the moment. I expect it not to be the finest. Wacom ones are the safer call in this case. What do you mean with “better optimization of the chipset” on the Cube? Aren’t both the same X5 Z8300 and single channel ram?

technically, it’s wacom technology… but it will really depend on how it’s implemented really

Well wacom stylus have no battery the cube one does. Different tech is used here.

no. wacom has multiple stylus technologies. the gt9110p controller supports wacom n-trig technology, the same that is in the surface pro 3. so technically it IS wacom technology, but that does not mean it will work as well as other wacom based implementations

n-trig is a complete different company from wacom. wacom has nothing to do with the pen of the surface pro 3. n-trig’s stylus have battery too, but wacom’s have none.

Wacom tablets use electromagnetic resonance technology. Since the tablet provides power to the pen through resonant inductive coupling, no power is required for the pointing device. As a result, no batteries are inside the pen (or the accompanying puck), making them lighter and slimmer. (Wikipedia)

the only tablet I know, that uses the gt9110p chip, is the trekstor surftab duo w1. and this tablet has some custom active stylus with battery, which looks like the cube’s stylus. and there are no good reviews of this particular stylus. this is the reason I don’t believe this Cube’s stylus will be different in a positive way.

If I knew how good the stylus is, I would buy it…

But probably no one has is received by now.

TrekStor has a cheap tablet in the same form factor (10.1 inch, 1920×1200) and it uses an Goodix-Stylus. Stylus has 256 levels and probably no battery. I would finally assume it is one of these. http://www.goodix.com/Products/touch-Controller-for-tablet/Stylus-Solutions/

Seems to be cheesy Chinese Synapsis clone. Hope it is not. If so, I will continue searching for my perfect cheap notepad-tablet.

This is the only place I found where I can order the tablet with the stylus. Or did someone see it anywhere?

Chris, when you plan to release the test of the iWork 10? You already ordered it, didn’t you?
