you should escalate the dispute to a claim, there’s an option saying “I could not come to an agreement with the seller”

I forgot to say that I contacted them in the 45 days money back guarantee, that may effect what you get. If you are over the 45 days I would send it back for a repair and hope they’ll fix it.

I had the same problem with my chuwi vi10 and I sent it back to Gearbest. Make sure you do EVERYTHING in the PayPal dispute system, if necessary  escalate it to a claim, they are going to give a paypal refund. Just pretend that you are very angry and mad at Gearbest and they are going to do anything for you. From that money I could get a much better cube iWork 10 ultimate still from Gearbest but I do try to avoid them.

Hi,

I have returned my chuwi vi10 a few months ago to Gearbest. It only had a touchscreen issue, but I got a full refund. I paid about €22 for the shipping (not priority, Austrian Post).

Make sure you do everything through PayPal’s dispute system because if the seller denies the refund, PayPal will get everything sorted out. Also this way you can make sure that they are going to give you a paypal refund and not some crap store credit thingy.

Always demand your points and if they say no then insist on what you want. After all they are on the other side of the world and they work with different internal policies than western companies.
