i can confirm that the fujitsu t4020 t4220 is a very good stylus for this tablet. Mine as arrived today, and there is no story with the one ‘original’ from bangood/gearbest. It is fluid and have very smooth pressure level recognition. This is the one i bought: http://amzn.to/2pOspKy

I measured about 10 °C less with the mod doing some benkmark tests.

I did this easy mod because i read somewhere that with the ‘hard mod’ there weren’t much difference.

No screws, to open the keyboard, just inside to remove the circuit board to allow the metal plate to be removed.

To open the keyboard you need to use a plastic tool to avoid scratches. You can start near the usb port pressing in the junction, and going all around. I’ve used these tools.

@ BrocasHelm , Regarding the termal pad, i used the one in the link and i’m quite happy, i don’t know if the ebay/aliexpress one are good enough…….

for the ssd i opted for a 2260 size because their performance are far superior compared to the 2240 size, expecially regarding the write speed, you have more choices and in most cases are cheaper, . Of course it’s a little bit tricky to fit them but the game is worth the candle…..

I’m agree with the previous posts, there is no space for an ssd 2.5″, and even with a m.2 there would be many technical difficulties imho. Anyway you can put a 512gb m.2 ssd as i did, i also put a 128gb micro sd for extra storage. And don’t forget you can put external hdd/pen drives in the usb 3 ports.

Exaclty Franzli, you have to open it like the tablet and pay attention by the cables. then you need a lot of patience. Apart of the easy screws, there are many plastic pins around all the plate, that you need to cut off, that helps you when you do some leveraging from below, to not force too much and not risk to deform or break the frame. There is also a big glue in the middle of the plate that you can remove with a flat screwdriver or something like that. The last thing after you remove the plate is to put something behind the trackpad to counteract the two buttons, i’ve used a magnetic card, as you saw from the pics.

for sure there’ll be much more elegant solutions, it was the easiest one i found at the moment. I don’t know if it’ll be durable, maybe yes because it is also touching to the back cover…..anyway if it’ll not work i’ll find another solution.

the balance is ok for my taste, but anyone have different priority

the principal purpose i think is to counterbalance the weight of the tablet, in fact at the maximum angle it fall back, but if you close it, let me say, 1 degree, it does not happen. So in my opinion is completely acceptable. 300g less i think is a good result.

i’ve bought an aukey usb c charger 54w from amazon, and it recharge very slowly, but in any case the tablet doesn’t discharge while connected.
