Ok. now i got it working. I installed windows again, third time. Now i used english version instead of finnish. Wifi is working, i found newer driver somewhere over internet, i used them. Screen is working, i updated screen driver, it was in device manager something like: “basic microsoft screen?!?!”. Now it is Intel Hd graphics.
Hope this works now.
January 17, 2016 at 3:36 pm #22741How did you get it work? Did you use orginal files from jide.com, or downloaded them from some other place?

Linux display driver issue on Surface 3. Looks to be partially fixed, but until Jide updates kernel with a working patch, you’re SOL

January 13, 2016 at 11:00 am #22198Yep. When i choose Android x86, then i see screen where it is detecting Android X86 something, and it founds it, then screen goes black. And i waited over 10 minutes, but nothing happened.
I also tried orginal files from jide.com website, and make usb stick with included tool, but when i try to boot from usb, screen is totally mess.
January 13, 2016 at 9:47 am #22191Just tried it, cannot get it work. I made usb stick with those files, booted tablet up and hit F7, then i select my usb drive, then it shows me 2 boot options, Android x86 or Windows, if i select Windows, it boots normally to Windows, and if i choose Android, it try to boot somewhere, screen is black but powered. Nothing happened. Any ideas???
January 11, 2016 at 8:38 pm #21940Can i replace my current Android with Remix os? Or is it mentioned to replace Windows 10? I wanna keep my Windows, but Android is kinda useless, so it can be removed if needed.
December 31, 2015 at 10:52 am #20678It´s quite intresting Bios what i have now. 🙂 Bad thing is that i don´t really wanna mess up anything there cos i don´t sure know all options. I tried to look wi-fi options, but there isn´t any. Wifi speed is good near my router, but about 10m away, speed is 0.1-0.2 Mb/s. Same thing in Android and Windows. I think antenna isn´t properly installed???
Everything else is working quite well, no crashes this far.
Is there anyway to copy my bios? I was thinking if somebody wanna play with options.

November 1, 2015 at 4:32 pm #14665Hey Dennis, i noticed that Bios update. It´s good that they release it, but unfortunately i shipped my tablet back a week ago for warranty repair/change… Not so clever, now it´s stuck somwhere in China. 🙂 Maybe i get it back someday. That´s why i was asking about working devices, because if there isn´t any, i will ask them to change it to different device. But i think i want back my x98 Pro. 🙂
October 25, 2015 at 11:00 am #14115In Windows, you can download languagepack and use it. You can find in “settings” -> “time&language” -> “region&language”.
October 21, 2015 at 7:57 pm #13856It´s not funny anymore. I downloaded win10 orginal files and copied files to usb. And guess what, i can´t enter only but bios. Boot override option is grayed no options available. And if i put usb and then power tablet on, screen goes white again…
October 21, 2015 at 6:56 pm #13854Yes, little progress… Ii started and loaded windows cmd tool, but it says that disk not found. My usb is named WINPE. What next?
October 21, 2015 at 6:43 pm #13852What option do you exactly mean? On Bios Main page is OS IMAGE ID, what i tried both, Windows and Android, with same result. And Boot page, i have Boot configuration with some options, and Boot option Priorities what is empty. And if i try to launch EFI shell from filesystem device from Save&Exit page, it says no efi device found.
October 21, 2015 at 11:28 am #13827I downloaded windowspe files from downloads section, and extracted them to 16Gb usb stick, with label name WINPE, and i also remove all chinese characters from folder names. I plugged usb to my tablet, but when i try to boot it up, screen goes white and mouse cursor is seen, nothing else… How booting from usb should work???
