Have finally fixed all my issues – one thing I had to change the audio mode in the BIOS, whatever the default mode was I had no audio support even with drivers from the downloads section- now everything is working.

October 19, 2017 at 5:38 am #73637I just installed it 30 minutes ago, I’m using it now. Updated to the local drive and no problems. By any chance, did you have auto updates running and all updates installed prior to the update?
Did you start from a fresh install? I am thinking maybe it has to do with non-fresh installs…
I’ve now fone a fresh install from media creation tool and all back up and running. Thankfully my touchpad is working again as well.
October 18, 2017 at 10:18 am #73615Damn, I am very upset because I had to do ‘reset my pc’ and now it’s back but various things aren’t working, such as opening windows update from the start menu.
Would it be possible for you to send me the driver for your track-pad? Mine is misbehaving…
Thanks,
Jake
September 28, 2017 at 3:12 pm #72769Is it working at all? Perhaps you can check it is enabled in the BIOS and also in the device manager?
Weir that IOBIT worked for me and mine is also V4
September 26, 2017 at 11:11 am #72670also I had touchpad driver issues. It took to installing iobit driver booster 5 to fix it. I suggest trying other options first (such as touchpad blocker), but it definitely worked for me.
September 25, 2017 at 10:47 am #72628I can’t say 100% that it will fix your issues, but I had a trackpad issue and after trying 99 different fixes, I ended up installing IOBIT Driver booster. Fixed my problem. it scans all your hardware and finds new drivers. Maybe it will work for you?

September 22, 2017 at 6:10 am #72481Go to the link below and follow the instructions there (ie. download the .reg file they posted and right click on it afterwards and select merge ) — This is a small file that will reset the default program used to open .exe files back to the original setting and should fix things for you !

I did this on my last laptop somehow – very frustrating!
September 13, 2017 at 1:14 pm #72068Eh, I prefer the wall plug style and also my post referred to AU plug.
I’ll order these and let y’all know how I go
September 12, 2017 at 11:10 am #71996will have to look for an extension cable I think, trouble is it’ll need to be able to handle 3 amps.
Do you think it won’t handle 3A?
September 11, 2017 at 10:55 pm #71975You have internal and external dimensions. The diameter of the outside of the pin and the diameter of the inside hole. At this stage I am thinking external diameter 3.5 internal 1.35 based on the above.
May have to wait to get my hands on it unless anyone actually measures
September 11, 2017 at 12:44 pm #71962Hmm you think this then?
Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/253052780349
There also seems to be a 3.5/1.35 option which from the sounds of your comment is probably correct
