Have you tested how many Amperes can it deliver to the Chuwi Hi12? I know it depends on the USB cable and on the maximum current supported by the device.

With the original Chuwi Hi12 charger and a “good” cable, I can have up to 1.7 A (not always, but I suppose it depends on the percentage of charge of the battery).

    Thanks

Do you mean using towelroot? Has anybody tested if it work with Chuwi hi12?

By the way, does anybody know if there are still problems with the SuperSU updated binaries?

I also asked to Gearbest and I also received the same answer, and I ordered it. It seems they have in stock since I ordered it on Friday and I received a mail on Saturday saying it had already been sent.

    No, it only has wifi.

You could use a “usb ethernet adapter”, or maybe better a “usb 3.0 ethernet adapter” if you don’t bother using the usb 3.0 slot.

Windows cumulative updates are not harmful and you can install them with no problem

The (only by the moment) harmful one is “Teclast firmware 3.04” (I don’t know if this is the exact name of the update package because I am in another computer, but sure it is the only that has the Teclast name on it, and sure that somewhere it is version 3.04).

So you could install any update except those that have the “Teclast” name on it.

One option is to contact the seller.

In the Chuwi Hi12 forum, Emily, the representative, says “Please reinstall system with English.” You can follow the discussion:

    Anyway, you could also try:

    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/31698742/how-to-change-windows-10-interface-language-on-single-language-version

I collected that information in case they would send me a single language version, but luckily I received a “multi-language” version.

Other versions of the language packs, in other languages and in some cases newer builds:

I suppose you checked the “Hide updates” option, where you can see the “pending but not hidden updates”, and you didn’t see any “pending” update. It is here where you must enter first to see the pending updates and to mark them as “Hidden” (“to be hidden”) in order that the operating system does no automatically update them.

If you check “Hidden updates”, you only see the updates you have previously hidden.
