Hi Dave No problem, we have to help eachother I think. Good to hear all the tricks work. Thats what you need with Teclast: lots of tricks. They responded to my posts on their facebook that I need to send it back to my retail shop. DUH! They just ignore all the problems. I broke my original charger, as I mentioned in other posts it just cannot handle the current that the tablet asks so its burnt now. But good news, the 3A replacement I found op dealextreme.com can work after all. When just plugging in while windows is running shows about 0.5A charge current which is way too slow. But…when I keep it plugged in and reboot the tablet starts to charge with 2.4Amps and when windows is booted it stays 2.4A! So I’m saved for now because if you need to contact Teclast for a new charger……..good luck….! Well, keep the faith in this tablet. After a couple of extensive charge (12hours) discharges I now get approx. 4-5 hours of battery life Best, Dennis

Dennis, do you have a link to the charger u bought?

I did that but I thought you said Windows will not see it as “the latest” and overwrite the next time it does auto driver updates?

Normaly yes. But if you disabled it like described above windows update will not touch the drivers anymore.

Tnx vcespon its good to get some reference stories. Multiple people confirming this now. @all : what am I missing when IGD Turbo is off? I dont really feel any difference except that now my tablet is stable and usable And vcespon: you can work for HOURS in windows on battery? wow… 2hours tops here

@Dennis: Two days ago I set the IGD Turbo off and since then my tablet is total stable. Also windows task manager shows cpu rates until 2,4 GHz so I don’t now what turbo off stands for… Today i will change the cooling policy to passive and set the max cpu to 95%. But as i said before: My system is already stable!

IGD also described as Intel Graphics Driver, will not use the turbo function (when IGD is set to disable) to get some more graphics performance out off the chip. You can compare it to temporary overclocking your onboard GPU. Wich relates to the folowing issues. The chip will ask more power from the battery and with more power from the battery the chip will also get hotter. Wich results in making the system unstable.

@ARnold welcome! Spread the word! Maybe Teclast picks it up and fixes it. What kind of problem do you have with the display driver? I never had problems with that, not with the driver that came with the tablet nor with the one I got after running this Intel Driver utility tool I heard about here on the forums

Tanks for the warm welcome! – I was thinking, that the problem with the display driver is known: Even Surface3-users reports this problem that the display driver crashes several times. When this happens windows will show a message and the screen is black for a short time. Then everythins is quite normal…

I will try to install the newest driver and i will deactivate the automatic installation by windows. Thanks for the tipps! – One question: What is the newest driver version? 15.xxx.x…

Just run the “Intel® Driver Update Utility” and install the drivers this utility suggest. This application will install the latest driver.

Thanks! By Setting the Turbo off the Black Screen Crash is Gone. only the Display Driver still makes Problems….

Well both your problem with the display drivers are easy to solve.

From Windows 10, the latest drivers will be installed automagicly by windows update without asking your permission.

When you install the latest updates from intel and update your graphic driver no issues there but then windows will think the graphic driver is out off date and say hey Windows i got a update for you. and installs that without asking you. installing a graphic driver will reboot your screen (so your flashing black screen). This game goes on and on and nobody wins the match because they both think they got the latest driver.

Well there is a solution for this issue and that is to disable the automatic driver installation. This setting is hidden deep in the dark tunnels of the windows explorer.

How to manually block device driver updates on Windows 10?

Step 1: Navigate to Control Panel within Settings.

Step 2: Click on System, in the Control Panel.

Step 3: After the System Properties window is launched, click “Advanced System Settings” located on the left hand side of the screen.

Step 4: In the Advanced System Properties window, click on the Hardware tab and select Device Installation Settings.

Step 5: When in Device installation settings, select “No, let me choose what to do” and “Never install driver software from Windows update“.

Step 6: Save the selected preference and restart the system.

The system drivers will now stop automatic updates and users will have to manually install drivers for any new hardware that needs to be interfaced with the system.

Edit 1: Keep in mind that disabling this option will disable the automatic installation and update process from drivers all together.
Edit 2: Currently i am running the latest insider version build 10576. And this option is now limited to 2 choices as you can see in the picture below.

Yes, I realized it must have been my email address. Both passwords were different so, still not sure how it was done. I’ve since changed my email address and other passwords. No trojans on my computer or keyloggers. Not idea really how it was done. I have the hackers postage address, name and email of at least where the order they place would be delivered. Something for the police if anything else happens. I still wonder if Gearbest was hacked as they could only use accounts that had Wallet balance (Credit) to buy goods these hackers.

Can you get the server logs of your webhosting for your email?

Then you can see if someone unauthorized accessed your webmail.

Mostly those will exist withing the httpd apache logs. Also i would suggest asking your hosting provider to check it’s server logs for that ip.

Have you looked at your deleted items from you mail?

Probably becaus he hacked your password. If you use the same password for gearbest and for you email account then this is the first anser.

Also, if he hacked your email adres and requested a password reminder to change the password. of your gearbest account. Then changed the email adres so you cant do a request password anymore.

Then delete all traces like the request emails from your email adres.

This is the most common one. Can you please check your server logs of chris@XXXXXXXX? and dont forget to check deleted items.
