    Hi,

Yes managed to remove the x80 Power case, haven’t got any pictures but in terms of procedure:

    1. The back case is all metal, to get started I went for one of the corners (joint where the metal touches the plastic) with a knife – take real care with this step as it’s a) tight b) you don’t want to scratch the case c) most important make sure the sharp object can’t slip or if it does it’s well away from you and the screen!
    2. Once the corner popped off just used an old plastic card like in @amacar’s video above, takes a little jiggling and pulling but was pretty easy.

Can take a picture of the back case if that’s helpful with seeing how its constructed?

Thanks both for the responses. Went for the corner first as the metal is very tight but then using a plastic card was a good tip. Thanks!

@Peter Any tips for getting the case off the tablet? Is it it just the metal case that fits snug into the plastic, or is the plastic part of the case to remove? Where is the best place on the tablet to start with removing?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

So far (fingers crossed) my Lexar MicroSDXC 64GB Flash Memory Card (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00C2WXVDW/) has worked fine in both Android and Windows.

Useful to be able to move files between the 2 OSs.

Yes managed to do it last night.

Downloaded to a USB stick and created a bootable drive from the iso with Rufus (http://rufus.akeo.ie/), pointed the installer towards my micro SD card and then after the first stage of install (purple screen) unplugged the USB on the orange screen and plugged into power and left for a few hours as seemed to be slow on the orange screen.

Been working well today, am now having wifi issues though but going through drivers at the moment (was working fine earlier). Suggestions of driver version greatly received…

If any of above is unclear let me know and I can try and expand.
