Hi!
Why is that in Android’s SETTINGS/BATTERY/MISC it reports a battery of 1000 mAh when is it supposed to be a 7500?
Is this is a bug or should I worry and contact the seller?
Thanks!
May 14, 2016 at 2:04 pm #37295Thanks!
And what do you think would be the expected life expectancy of the battery?
May 11, 2016 at 1:17 pm #36825Hi!
I installed the Intel Flash Lite version from that same link you posted –before any post here about this problem– and it’s been in the PATH everce since in my Windows Environment Variables.
May 11, 2016 at 1:10 pm #36822OK! Thanks!
May 10, 2016 at 9:58 pm #36719Now I did the instructions for booting in the DNX mode (with chinese logo and the yellow text DNX FASTBOOT MODE on a black background) and I get the same behaviour with both command-line instructions I described before.
May 10, 2016 at 9:52 pm #36718Thanks for the input but maybe fastboot mode is not explained? I mean I see a instruction:
- boot tablet in fastboot mode (see other section)
But there is no other section where it’s mentioned this fastboot mode (is that the same as DNX mode which is actually mentioned?)
May 10, 2016 at 1:37 pm #36646Anyone?
On the command line (CMD run as an administrator):
1- After typing adb devices I get a list of emulator-56nn –about 15 items
2- After typing fastboot devices I get nothing just an immediate return to the command line.
OEM unlocking & USB debugging were active on the tablet
So what else can I do to try to root the tablet?
Thanks!
May 10, 2016 at 1:19 pm #36645Hi!
I’m quite new to x86 tablets so I think that maybe that’s the reason of the fast total discharge of the battery which is done in about 5/6 hours at minimum brightness and even using just mercury browser and nothing else.
Is this normal?
In my past tablets (ARM) they would discharge like this only if I had plenty of open apps and medium/high brightness. In fact in the conditions I described above, those past tablets take a long time to discharge.
At this rate how long is going to be the useful life of the tablet/battery (how many charge cycles does it have)?
Thanks!

But the shipping time from China stores is pretty long, so I’m trying to buy from amazon or maybe somewhere else. It would be awesome to know which of the available cases on the USA for other devices (Samsung, Lenovo etc) are compatible with the iwork10 in term of size so you know we all have more options 🙂
May 8, 2016 at 6:20 pm #36462Thanks!
For the input! That’s what I figured, it seems if I want to use that device which is pretty hungry, I’m gonna have to keep the charger connected, a USB3.0 cable as a host which connects to a powered HUB.
Any recommendations for a confirmed good quality charging HUB?
May 8, 2016 at 3:47 am #36400Hi!
Is this the same OTG USB3.0 cable? http://www.amazon.com/Ugreen-Adapter-Android-Tablets-Samsung/dp/B00MXM4DI8/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1462649741&sr=8-3-fkmr1&keywords=Ugreen+Cavo+OTG
I think it could work out pretty well if the female connector goes to a powered HUB which would power power-hungry devices but someone tell me that not because a hub has an AC/Adapter means that it is a powered hub that feeds power to devices.
Any recommendation on any actual powered HUB devices? –don’t want to keep throwing money at something that won’t work and I won’t be able to return.
Thanks!
May 8, 2016 at 3:41 am #36399Thanks Jade!
I tried those instructions but my device still not detected on my PC neither by adb (only show emulator responses) or by fastboot (doesn’t return anything). I checked that developer options on the tablet were active (OEM unlocking & USB debugging) and then rebooted with same results.
Otherwise the tablet’s internal and microsd memory can be seen and used in the PC.BTW winrar reports error on the big rar 6GB file “Cube iwork10 Ultimate(i15-T)dual boot files.rar”. Any way to have a MD5 sum?
Thanks!
May 6, 2016 at 2:43 pm #36278BTW the tablet is connected to the USB port and the drivers were already installed. And when connecting with Android booted already I see it on Windows Explorer as Portable Device named i15-T.
Thanks
May 6, 2016 at 2:37 pm #36277Many thanks for the thread!
I’m trying to root Android (for now just flashing the modified boot file) and while I’m downloading the big 6GB file, I tried to run CMD as an admin but after entering “fastboot device” (without the quotes) I get a permanent “< waiting for any device >” and I don’t get the device listed.
What to do next? Thanks!
May 5, 2016 at 9:58 pm #36224Forget about the last one. Onw reviewer says “While using the OTG function, the station can’t charge device”
