Technically erasing and writing is the same thing, when erasing it writes all zeros. So if you can erase, you should be able to write.

Powered hub does not necessarily have to charge the tablet, but it supplies power to other devices. Since x98 plus micro usb port has very low power, it cannot support two or more devices. For example, you can connect usb keyboard and flash drive and without external power supply copy from flash drive would fail due to lack of power.

First time I flashed it like all tutorials says – from C:\ and with administrators rights, it said passed, but after reboot tablet was dead, no logo, no bios, no nothing.

Yesterday reflashed with arduino and flashrom, it works now!

Bricked mine too (A5C6). Bios flashed successfully, but did not boot. Will try to reflash with arduino soon.

Why would you want that? Do you reset system every day?

Do you understand what you want? Just use disk cleanup after win upgrade to remove old version ( or delete c:\windows.old) to get disk space back.

What about A5C6? Isn’t A5C8 already a dual boot?

I have tried that and a number of other fixes, but nothing helped. Strange, but it fixed itself overnight.
