Really? I feel like windows are offering a better tablet experience overall. Sure there are apps missing, but it is mainly apps I do not use. I am happy with it.

Anyway, at the end I accepted the voucher. I think you are right and I will wait until surface 5 comes out so the price of 4 will get much lower. now I need to figure out what to do with the voucher.

Hi Chris, thank you for your reply.

I prefer windows tablets, as it gives me the ability to run other software as well, when needed.

both of the tablets (first one and the one i have now) they will not turn on by any possible way, combination of buttons, with or without power etc. I tried everything. The first one was dying slowly (random reboots) until it completely died; the second one died after a windows update. update was installed and then it would not power up.

I already asked them to send me the x98 pro as replacement. but I will keep in mind the x16 pro in case I have problems again with the x98 pro.

I also prefer the 4:3 ration as I usually shoot in 4:3, and the screen is great for reviewing my photos!

I have been through the videos and reviews and the x98 pro looks more responsive and snappy.

Since there is no other suggestion on the table, I guess I will go for the pro model and hope that I will not have as many problems this time…

I know about the difference in the processors, I was just wondering if it makes such a big difference. I managed to play, for example, Pillars of eternity on the pro (with relatively low settings) without big problems. Can I do the same on the plus?

Is there something similarly powerful as the pro with longer batter and similar price range?

Has the x98 pro been discontinued?

No high pitched sound. and I tried keeping the power button and every other possible button combination with or without the cable for more than a minute…

Hi guys, I am facing the same problem. Yesterday I updated to BIOS 1.13, I plugged the charger, show the charging animation and left it all night to charge.

This morning i would not boot or even charge! I took the tablet with me at work and I tried to charge it through a pc usb, during random times I pressed every possible combination of the buttons while plugged and not plugged. I came back home, plugged it to charger and still no charging animation. I tried different cables and different chargers, still nothing.

Any ideas?

After I reinstalled the older BIOS I get the eMMC missing error… So I guess there is no way to go backwards in BIOS. I can’t seem to get a break with this tablet… I had to reinstall BIOS 1.13 and my problems still continue. I left all night on the charger (after I saw the charging animation while it is turned off) and today when I tried to turn it on, the battery is empty. And now when I try to charge it, nothing happens… I tried to plug first to the tablet and then to power, first to power then to tablet etc…

If anyone has a dump of BIOS 1.62 that I could use to install, I might risk to brick the damn thing…

Dear All,

After I updated the BIOS on my K9C6 to 1.13 I face a lot of random crashes and the tablet not turning on. unless of course it is plugged in power.

Would it be possible to go back to the previous BIOS version? is the above mentioned BIOS 1.05 suitable for K9C6?

It was working before the clean install, driver booster and surface audio driver…

It is not disabled or lowered in the settings. If someone can upload a driver or point me to one, i would be grateful. I am on a business trip and i cannot do a clean install now…
