Do you have the same stylus that Chris reviewed? Does it say pen support in system settings?
May 18, 2016 at 3:00 pm #37839Mine has been great either. The build is much better than in the Cube iWork 10 which quality seemed to decrease a lot in spite of sale and huge demand. If only it could support stylus.
I was worried that it does not although it also charges fine through the microUSB.
April 17, 2016 at 8:51 am #33873Are there any differences in images other than the Windows version and it’s activation?
April 16, 2016 at 11:21 pm #33843Now that is something I didn’t think of while attempting to restore Windows. What to do if I have the i15-TL with no backup of the drives. I don’t really care about the activation. Just having the factory way of Windows with the drivers and configuration, as well as the switching system application.
April 14, 2016 at 1:10 pm #33503The fat32 is not suitable cause the Install.wim file size is bigger than what this file system can handle. I’m looking into ways to split the file. Hopefully the Windows installer won’t erase or alter the Android partitions and I will be able to backup them.
April 14, 2016 at 12:27 pm #33496I have already seen your post and wanted to help, although I cannot as of now. My Android is intact but I wanted to restore Windows to set it myself from the start, it didn’t work resulting in Windows partition gone. I don’t have a USB hub and can’t get the Windows installer to see my second usb with Install.wim for some reason while using and switching from usb keyboard that I use to get into the bios. What should be the path for the files on the second USB?
April 14, 2016 at 12:04 pm #33492Yes, the I15TL version, it’s from the Gearbest sale. I noticed it cause my is the other way around, nonexistant bottom gap and about 1mm at the top.
April 14, 2016 at 11:50 am #33488It just does not have an even gap. The top part has a bigger gap of the not active part of the screen visible right under the black frame around it.
March 1, 2016 at 3:33 pm #27670Have you tried the GMSInstaller.apk that many used to get GApps and Google Play Store on an early release of the USB bootable Remix OS 2.0? Maybe it would work with the Android on the Cube.
March 1, 2016 at 1:43 pm #27661This thread has become an amazing resource. I’m still waiting for my Cube but I ordered it just few days ago, single os verison. As an owner of Hi8 and now only Windows on Hi10 I am eager to get it to dual boot.
Chris, could I ask you about some details? Is it easy to open the case? Where did you start? Is there a chance to make an easy battery replacement? What flasher and hinge did you use? Any site to order the correct one?
Thank you very much for your work.
