Thanks for the response Chris. I hope you are well and the website/youtube channel is doing ok. I tried doing the Win 10 factory reset and it just hung at 7%. After waiting a few hours i forced it to power down and eventually managed to get it to reboot but it wasn’t happy. Couldn’t get the boot up screen giving the option to select android or windows – it kept on displaying the large battery charging icon. Got it going now but i don’t want to try resetting it again. Unless someone has a better idea, i am going to try and create another administrator account and use that to delete my microsoft account. Not satisfactory really as sensitive information will still be on the disk to those with the knowledge to find it.
November 15, 2016 at 12:46 pm #56963Back in May, the microsd card slot on my Chuwi Hi 12 operated properly in Win 10 for the first few weeks of ownership but has not functioned since. Tried everything i can think of, for example, different brands of card, capacities, formats, drivers and so on but nothing worked. In Device Manager it reports a fault with the SD Storage Class Controller. Meanwhile, the microsd slot continues to function in Android with no problems at all.
I have scoured the net but there does not seem to be a solution. Several forum threads contained posts stating that this is a common problem with other tablets running Win 10 OS and a firmware update/driver from Chuwi is required. In the end i gave it up as a bad job and use Win 10 without microsd card support. I really hope you find a solution but i fear there may not be one.

November 23, 2015 at 3:27 pm #16454Not cheap. Costs approx £208GBP and the seller states international shipping not available. 🙁
November 23, 2015 at 12:01 pm #16439I ended up deleting/moving unnecessary data files and uninstalling a few of the memory intensive applications to free up sufficient disk space on the system drive. Installation went smoothly after that.
November 8, 2015 at 4:31 pm #15295Browsing the cnet download page, fyi Driver Booster 3 has had 15m+ downloads which seems to indicate against it containing malware. Main grumbles relate to the constant barrage of ads.

October 13, 2015 at 1:49 pm #13170Thanks for responding. Reinstalling windows is my final solution TBH before i attempt to return it. I have a few more ideas to try out first such as installing the DoubleDriver Win10 drivers and i’ll see how i get on.
