I have the A5C8, running the latest win 10 version and Mirek 190 v3 rom.  I am using a Samsung 32gb EVO with no problems. Shows 29.8 available for both win and android. I have written and shared files both ways.

Oh oh – followed the procedure to update bios and everything went ok including showing teclast system firmware 3.01 but when I went to do a restart, went to black screen and now I can no longer boot.  No combination of keys (pwr, pwr + vol up, pwr + vol down, pwr + both vol up and down) has any effect.  Plug in charger and don’t even get indication that is charging.

What did I do and are there any suggestions?

    Thanks

Never mind, did a reset and now works ok

I had problem with windows camera. My windows camera picture worked, but the video recording did not work. I was getting error “0xa00F425d something wrong see if it is connected” I was using driver version 07/08/2015 8,8,9,468. I download and installed driver 21.10586.6069.2007 now the camera and video work perfectly.

Gregg – can I ask where you got the new driver

Wonder if this will work for the A5C8 or is the bios too different.  Other bios updates I have tried haven’t helped with the windows camera not working problem.

I purchased this one through Amazon for $17.  Lightweight, works with both win and android.

Ok – seems to be working now.  Don’t know what happened but after a few swaps of os and toggling the time settings back and forth it has settled down and is working properly.

    Thanks Gal

Just got around to trying this and it didn’t seem to work.  I noticed that Timo chose a 64bit Dword. When I was setting this, I found I only had a 32bit Dword or a 64bit Qword.  I chose the 32bit option but it didn’t make any difference.

Should I have chosen the 64bit Qword?

Try holding the function key when you hit f7.  Or other combinations that work may be the Esc key or holding the power and vol key at the same time when you boot up.

I have the exact same issue.  I have been in touch with my provider (Geekbuying) but other than acknowledging my problem, I have not heard back from them with a solution.

I will be trying the sd card trick and will advise on results.
