Took me three days to download the whole thing..
Restored partition 14, still no sound, bluetooth, or brightness.
Sigh… Do I need to restore multiple partitions?
EDIT: As it turns out, yes I do. It works fine now, I lost my root though so I’ll need to install that again..
Thanks for the help. You’re a lifesaver!

Follow this guide, but before flashing, replace the RemixOS files with a stock rom.
January 3, 2016 at 1:54 am #21046Remix OS run without problem on 221510xxxxx model. You must use this fix: gdrive. It helps me. Source: 4pda.ru
The fix only fixed the touchscreen…
EDIT: Oops, forgot to flash fixed system.img. It works. You can download Remix OS from the guide and then replace boot.img and system.img with the Google Drive fix.
And now I finally have working Android! How do I reboot into recovery?
January 3, 2016 at 12:32 am #21041I don’t see a download for stock android on that post.
And… Which boot.img do I flash? The one in system or boot?

Incompatible with 22150900xxx roms.
Unfortunately I screwed it up and I don’t have the stock rom, but I took a picture of the build information… 20151013.135967 dev-keys. I think it didn’t have the blurry screen bug.

Your linux distribution would probably overwrite the default bootloader leaving you either only able to boot into windows or only able to boot into Kali Linux. Best case scenario it overwrites the bootloader with grub2 and you can choose between linux, windows, and Android.
I’ve never tried this, but when trying to install Ubuntu on a laptop that came with Windows 8, I had to use Grub fixer because grub2 wouldn’t show up and it would boot straight to Ubuntu.
I’m sorry if I’m wildly off and Kali Linux doesn’t use grub2, I’ve never used it.
