The Zip works perfectly, but you have to manually repeat the rooting process to get SuperSU to work.

    Rooting:

    • flash a modified boot image (see appropriate section)
    • download and unzip the iwork10root stuff
    • open an elevated command prompt (administrator)
    • navigate to the unzipped folder of the root stuff
    • turn on the tablet and boot to android
    • make sure USB debug is ENABLED, if not, enable it (google how, its really easy)
    • connect the micro usb 2.0 port to your pc
    • type “root.bat” in your command prompt
    • wait for it to hang on adb shell su –daemon
    • disconnect tablet, reboot it
    • supersu will want to update su binary, let it do so. it will fail, close it then.
    • reconnect the tablet, type “root.bat” again
    • should be rooted successfully.

Isn’t it easier/possible to just flash the supersu.zip through recovery?

Are there any problems with this image? Does the Camera work for example?

Flubski – thank, but i afraid this way not give a result.
Right now i don’t have a worked solution, just leave the old SU.

It will put a tablet in boot loop mode 🙁

Does the Camera work for example?

Yep – camera, accelerometer, wi-fi, bluetooh etc – all work (at least for me) 😉

“It will put a tablet in boot loop mode” what do you mean? Why?

    what do you mean?

    i mean:
    1. tablet make restart after flashing UpdateSU
    2. show a boot animation
    3. show a boot animation
    4. show a boot animation
    5. …..
    BootLoop…

    Why?

    God knows…
I do not have appropriated knowledge 🙁

I wouldn´t say it if it hadnt´t worked for me. All I can say is that letting the normal SuperSU won´t give you root access!!

    worked for me.

Perhaps I misled with another ROM that I rebuild
You say this option works for Remix ROM? Good News!

For those having Wifi and Bluetooth conflicting issues on the Cube iwork10, this is how I solved my problem.

Download and install the Realtek Bluetooth driver in the attachment, don’t worry it is perfectly safe as it is from Realtek.

Hi guys, It was interesting to read your thread . A couple of months ago, I found a RemixOS v2 ROM for the model Chuwi HiBook (created by mr. kostyamat from Russian 4pda forum. It’s something like a Russian version of XDA forum): http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=734255&st=360#entry50072404 I’m adapt it for our iwork10 Ultimate (TD version) tablet. If you want, you can try it “as is”: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2OcauV-M6rRRVJRM1o0dzV3SDg/view?usp=sharing Installed through recovery and not kill Windows ? BR. P.S. Sorry about my not so perfect English ?

works like a charm, thanks for the rom

    if someone might be interested…

RemixOS usb-stick-installer. Tested on my type-c version.
Just like when you install stock Android – Windows will be wiped!

    1. format your usb-flash with FAT32 and name “WINPE”, put files inside archive onto it.
    2. boot from usb-flash (press F7 repeatedly while booting)

Is it possible to use Gray’s image on a type-c model? And does it support disk encryption?
