I am going to be getting one of those too. There is a Security app called Advanced SystemCare that you can use For Security Purpose. I have never tried it so, I have a personal assistant that this app is very good for system security Here is a link to download Advanced SystemCare.

Okay, thank you for the information 🙂
There is likewise no real way to utilize the BT from the air conditioner 8256 and the wifi from the ax200? Simply an irregular idea, I don’t generally have a clue how organization cards work -

A bit too late to the party but I just would like to add that reflian’s solution works on my 2017 i5 Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro.
Attached a picture that shows the working 4k @ 60Hz with power and without power.
Thank you very much reflian for sharing your findings. Wishing you and the others a Happy New Year!

Just tap on the button that shows opening apps. Then tap on the Google icon and select the split screen option to see Chrome on one side. Next, select other app for other side of the screen.

If anyone still wondering the Linux equivalent of the RWEverything command, here it goes:
- Install busybox
- Execute these:
busybox devmem 0xFED170A8 16 0000
busybox devmem 0xFED170AC 16 0000
wrmsr 0x610 0x0
Feel free to make it autostart depending on your init system. If you use systemd, however, this unit can be used:

Alright, thank you for the info 🙂
There is also no way to use the BT from the ac 8256 and the wifi from the ax200? Just a random thought, I don’t really know how network cards work 😀

I just installed the BIOS that came out last month and you are right the latest 3 versions doesn’t have the patches. I guess I don’t really use those, I think the stock fan profile is okay, although I dont use the notebook heavily, I dont play games (well I do, but on Geforce Now, so it’s only a video stream).

You can always use a BT dongle that you plug in the USB port on the left when you need it. The lack of bluetooth functionality doesn’t come from installing this particular AX200 card, but because the nature of the m2 adapter we are using here.
“Cards like the AX200 are designed to be used in M.2 Type E connectors; they are not designed to be used…

Thank you, I had already found that and it is a great source for mods. I would not upgrade to 906 since bad temperatures are reported here and the BIOS patches for undervolting don’t work on it. Did you update to 906? How is your experience?

Hello Marco
You must use the secondary M2 SSD slot, because the AC8265 is soldered on, you can’t replace it by simply disconnect the old one and pop in the new one. Please note that by using m2 slot via adapter, you lose the built in bluetooth funcionality.

I am going to be getting one of those too. There is an app called doubledriver that you can use to see and back up the drivers currently installed. I have never tried it so I don’t have personal experience but Chris used to have a link for it and also dumps from it for devices on the download page. Here is a link to the techspot download…[Read more]
