Update 4: Android is working. Initially a little unstable, but after OTA and factory reset everything is working smooth. Couldn’t install Win10, as my 32GB pendrive is not seen by the tablet during bios boot. Android takes 8GB of storage for apps.
Update 3: Flashed Android (put content of the android folder (Chinese chars one) to root of the USB. Go to BIOS (hold vol+ at boot) then to save&exit tab and select “boot from EFI” (2nd to the bottom option). Script worked for about 3 minutes. After reboot I selected android and android service menu showed up (green guy with open belly). This one worked for about 10 minutes. Next is Win 10.
Update 2: Flashed BIOS from within Windows (just run the bat file) – script worked for about 2 minutes, rebooted the machine. Android is working. So far so good…
Update: Dual boot files are in Techtablets.com download section. Download is from google drive and filesize is ~8GB.
So, the released firmware can be found here (in chinese, Baidou account needed):

I have no expirience with flashing cube tablets, so I will wait for somebody to post instructions (I can test thou).

January 22, 2016 at 9:22 pm #23390Managed to install Dual Boot, updated bios, installed Android, installed Win 10.
Everything installed OK, the only problem I Have is The Dual boot update, updates Windows 10 To the 64 bit Home Edition, before it was Windows 10 32 bit Pro Edition! So of course it wont activate!
Brightness is working 100% in both android and windows
January 22, 2016 at 9:47 pm #23393Can’t believe they ship unregistered windows in update, is pain in the ass having it unregistered and hoped this update would fix my current unregistered issues 🙁
January 22, 2016 at 10:28 pm #23397Hi Graham did you need to use a OTG adapter/charger to flash the dual boot so the tablet wouldn’t go flat or could you gust use a usb pen drive?
and that sucks that windows is not activated!!!
January 22, 2016 at 11:31 pm #23404Yes, you will need an otg cable, 2 usb 16gb usb sticks, one formated as fat32 for Android and one formated as NTFS for Windows 10, you will also need a USB hub so you can plug a keyboard in, as it asks you to “Press any key to continue” during the windows install! Also make sure your tablet is fully charged before you start.
January 23, 2016 at 10:13 am #23426I got the 4000mah in no problem and in honesty could get bigger, need to look through available options there is plenty of space both depth and width, unfortunately changing usb socket was disaster and now only charge is available to me meaning no more otg 🙁 at least the socket is stable.
January 24, 2016 at 9:38 pm #23557Just wondering if someone could verify the impact of my heatsink mod….
I can run prime for over 10 mins on the maximum heat setting maintaining 1600mhz constantly on all cores and a temperature of 73 on 2 cores and 67 on the other 2. I can then add furmark to the mix getting to about 82 deg c and cpu throttling down to about 1200mhz. Be intrigued to know how you guys get on; that is using hwmonitor. I used a 10 x 20cm aluminium sheet which appears to be conducting heat away nicely – obviously only so much you can do in a passive confined space…

Graham, did you not take an image of the Windows Pro before changing system? If you did would it be possible to reinstall after?
Any problem using KMSpico on this, to activate?January 27, 2016 at 12:41 pm #23940Hi,
Just found this forum and I have a question to the cube I8 ultimate with Windows10.
I am getting in the next days and after reading some post I am a little bit worried about some things.
It seems they have preinstalled W10 with Chinese language? Is it easy to change if this is the fact?
Also there are posts about disabled updates with Windows10? True?
Some people reporting that there are preinstalled accounts on the system, is this a security issue? Do I have to fix this?
thanks for help
