Thanks for the mod firmware. I cannot flash via Update method, but I can flash with Recover tho. Do I have to do something to use flash as Update?
are you using the one Carlos posted to Mega? Maybe if it’s your first time to flash and boot loader locked it needs to use recover. In this case Android gets wiped and it will spend a longer time on green robot with gear spinning and antenna wiggling after first reboot.
@Bill. Â Yes. I flash with Carlos’file. Â I flashed few times already. Â But I could not use Update, only Recover works. Â So it wipes all data every time. I use Intel Phone Flash Tool version 5.3.4.1 and flash in DnX mode. Â Any special instructions to flash as Update? Â Thanks.
August 18, 2016 at 6:52 am #47188@Natthi, that’s strange, with the same tool I can select any of the three options: update, recover or blank.
Edit: I didn’t use dnx mode so maybe that’s the difference, just booted to Android with usb debugging enabled

It is cleared now. I enable Developer Option – USB Debugging Mode. Â Thanks again.

August 19, 2016 at 8:47 pm #47412Something I just noticed was fixed in latest version is the home screen button (Win logo) now works 🙂
Although can be a curse if you touch while playing a game.
August 24, 2016 at 2:10 pm #47806A few questions for those that have flashed Remix on the dual boot version; Are the wi-fi and audio driver issues in the first post resolved? Does the stylus work on Remix? Just want to be sure because I would love to give this a shot, after playing around on other computers I much prefer Remix to stock android, especially on the larger screens with a keyboard.
In the past:
Teclast X98 Air 3G, Teclast Air II, Acer Switch 11, Acer Switch 12.2 ,Sony Vaio Flip 14A, Sony Vaio Tap, Samsung Note III, Samsung Note 10.1, Samsung Note 12.2August 24, 2016 at 6:50 pm #47823No problem with wifi or audio on this version of Remix that replaces Android on dual boot. I can’t say about the stylus as I don’t have one.

This one is replacing Android with Remix so only for dual boot. They haven’t provided for single boot yet.
August 27, 2016 at 8:49 am #48121Remix OS can’t read my SD card formatted in NTFS. While in recovery and in Windows 10, tablet can read it. Solutions?

I tried also, even installing the chuwi-android-fs driver from the TWRP thread didn’t help. Looks like we need to stay with fat32 sdcard for now.
August 27, 2016 at 11:45 pm #48258Just installed the one Micky linked to, it have all drivers needed incl wifi
Which Wifi device does it have? Given Remix 2.0 runs on the Linux Kernel 4.4 I’m curious what driver is being used because people have trouble getting it to work on Linux/Ubuntu.

This build is running Android kernel 3.14.37-x86_64. I don’t know how to find the wifi device info, it’s probably built into kernel by Chuwi.
