I wonder why guys are not just using something like this: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01ID90K4A/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3QW97JCGVVAI1&psc=1 to charge from every power bank. Sure, it’s a bit slower but still faster than it discharges and everyone has a (normal) power bank, which can be used with this cable. And did anyone try this charger: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01GL4MFVU/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=AXZ3JQ1GVFPIF&psc=1 It has PD, but 12V only up to 2A. It’s quite similar to the iclever recommended on the last page, so it could work. I guess I’ll try both, as long as no one did not succeed before me.
I can confirm now, the Ugreen charger works perfectly and charges nearly as fast as the original charger. It also solved my problem with ghost touches when fully charged. Unfortunately the step-up cable does not work, but I ordered a stronger step-up module and will try again.
Hello. I have the same charger, but when fully charged I have ghost touch. Is it possible that the cables are faulty? I bought a twin pack with 56k resistor.
Also, the tablet only charges when it’s turned off when I insert the cable. When its powered on, i have to plug-unplug 10-15 times until it begins to charge.August 19, 2017 at 5:06 pm #70777adrenoParticipant

I can confirm 20$ Xiaomi Mi USB-C 45W charger does work fine with Cube I7 book.
Of course if you do not mind the white color.October 14, 2017 at 1:44 pm #73387
The charger for the Cube i7 book was really hot today so I unplugged it from the wall.
When I plugged it back in again it would no longer charge!
I have ordered one of these and hope it will fix my problem.

so according to this thread, Macbook chargers work. ive been trying to get it to work. it worked the first time i plugged it in, but now it just says “not charging” when connected, whether its connected to AC or not. works fine for charging phones. does anyone have any ideas? cheers.
EDIT:: fixed. I disconnected the power adapter for a while and once it stopped saying “not charging” whilst connected to the tablet, it then worked. very weird. i suppose the device output power switching in the Adapter is a bit weird or something. anyway, fixed.October 24, 2017 at 9:43 am #73863
I ended up getting an Anker PowerPort+ 5-Port / 60W USB-C Charger.
But it doesn’t come with a cable that goes from the charger to the i7.
I purchased an Apple Mac USB-C to USB-C cable but it didn’t work.
How do I connect it to my Cube i7 book?October 24, 2017 at 6:18 pm #73890KatagiriParticipant

I bought a cable from Anker from eBay from an US seller and it works.October 24, 2017 at 9:37 pm #73894
I’ve returned the Apple Mac cable and have ordered the Anker one?
With the Apple one it said “plugged in – not charging”, so it was recognising the cable.
Maybe I just have to update the USB driver.
I’ve re-installed Windows 10 in the past so maybe that is why it is not charging?
Where can I get the correct driver from?October 26, 2017 at 2:06 am #73936
Will updating the Windows 10 driver for the USB-C allow charging to work?October 27, 2017 at 1:05 am #73990KatagiriParticipant

I didn’t update any drivers, I just saw that strangely it charges only with one side up, if it is not charging, I just remove the cable and switch sides.October 27, 2017 at 12:59 pm #73997
Thanks. I’m now waiting for Anker usb c cable to arrive.October 28, 2017 at 1:08 pm #74034BromParticipant

Your charger does not support USB Power Delivery. That’s why it’s not charging. Only chargers that support 12V over Type C are supported by the tablet.October 31, 2017 at 12:00 am #74125
The Anker Powerport+ that I purchased will support USB power delivery. Please see the attached picture.
I have used an Anker USB-C cable and it does not work.
It says that the USB is plugged in but it is not charging.
