April 26, 2016 at 12:11 pm #35138OK, it didn’t work. But now I got the point.
First adb reboot bootloader. Then when in bootloader, fastboot oem unlock. This will erase userdata.
Then the patch V3 will work.

April 29, 2016 at 6:58 am #35498i tried to unpack to system.img. My computer refuse and say : “Unknown header”… Waiting for more signs of successful install bEfore flashing. Where does the rom come from ?
May 1, 2016 at 1:55 pm #35716I tried to install Remix OS 2 for PC x64 from here (http://www.jide.com/remixos-for-pc) since I have an A5C6 single-boot x98 Plus and I don’t want to convert it to dual boot BIOS.
Installation was fine and i can see RemixOS, efi and isolinux folders into my C: drive.
I can easily boot on Remix OS 2 but touchscreen, WiFi, Bluetooth and Audio are not working.
I’m guessing how to copy drivers (firmware?) from spzjulien image and copy into original one.
May 2, 2016 at 12:36 am #35768UI is very nice and the ROM very promising. Will go back to stock, though: -Lost audio after wake up from sleep -Easy Eyes screen filter doesn’t work -Not possible to use widgets
What model of Teclast x98 Plus are you using?
Anyone else experience the same?

I’m also interested to know. I have A5C8.
May 4, 2016 at 9:49 pm #36088I consistently get a ‘failed’ error while flashing system.img.
Previously, I used Mirek’s flash tool to repartition the device, and the system partition was 1 GB which I resized to 2 GB using Gparted. I thought 2 GB should be enough for the system.img (which is 1.2 GB) in the Remix ROM.
Any ideas?
May 5, 2016 at 12:46 pm #36173I soft-bricked my tablet A5C8 in flashing this rom coming from nowhere (really, guys, you should get interested when it’s about the origin of the roms you flash). I’m,stuck in the remixOS bootanimation.
That’s what happen when you flash a rom coming from Jupiter’s Ass…
Now i will have to flash the stock system.img or my own dump i made out of the system partition… In the hope it work.
I suggest you stay away from this rom.
May 5, 2016 at 2:07 pm #36185Its Fine nothing to worry about.
Just put the tablet in DNX mode and install the Mirek Latest Rom.
Windows will stay intact.
It happened to me, and i reinstalled the Remix OS again ( just make sure your files are on c: Drive)
May 5, 2016 at 2:08 pm #36187I manualy flashed mirek190 v3 system.img [no need to flash the whole serie of files].
And Android seems to start normally…
Fortunally i didn’t wipe data before flashing.

I tried following your steps, but ended up with the Android figure with its torso open (sorry, don’t know the name of that error). Can you help me please?
I installed Remix OS 2.0 successfully.
I turned on USB debugging.
I typed ‘adb reboot bootloader’. Once I was in bootloader, I typed ‘fastboot oem unlock’. As you said, this erased user data. Then I tried two things on two separate occasions, but both resulted in the Android with its torso open: first I tried running ROOT.bat (from http://forum.xda-developers.com/x98-air/help/root-teclast-x98-plus-t3313339) while still in the bootloader; second I tried typing ‘fastboot reboot’. Both times I ended up with the Android with its torso open.
Can anyone help me root this please?
