Hi Max, thank you so much for your detailed share.
I have a question, how I can “Extract your Windows 10 key from the Bios using the utility in the downloads section.” ? Can you please give me instructions about it ? Appreciate it a lot.

As told by their technicians, the DDR of X98 PLUS can run at 1600MHz. But during the time they made the system debugging, they found at this frequency the system stability is not good. So they made the BIOS to reduce the frequency to 1066MHz.
The manufacture failed to tell us about this information earlier. We apologize that so many cilents didn’t know before the purchase. We have already made some change on the product page. At least the new buyers will know. Sorry again! Users already got in hand must feel uncomfortable.

January 30, 2016 at 4:09 pm #24209Hi friend, no need to remove the Windows. Just install a new language and then delete the Chinese language pack from the Setting list.
This is an instruction link showing how to install a language pack and make it as default.
But actually you can find video instructions on Youtube. Videos will be much better

One guy share this solution with me. He said that the booster 3 helped to fix this issue on his X98 PRO- I ran a program to search for out dated driver and updated 32 drivers to newest update. since then I have been able to use tablet and drain it to 5% without it shutting down twice so far. maybe that solved the problem.
- I downloaded the free program from download.cnet.com called “driver booster 3” ran that and updated
- all the drivers that it found that needed updates. haven’t had a problem yet.
January 29, 2016 at 2:53 am #24210Anyone with the same problem and has any solution ? Me here encountering this issue, too. Skype has no sound in Android OS, but Windows all good. Is it compatible issue? I checked the QQ ( international version) chat and it’s working properly in Android.
