Any SSD that meets those requirements should work. Be careful with the drivers though, you`ll need to reinstall windows so make sure you have them at hand
January 16, 2018 at 9:26 pm #77100Well if you haven’t ever touched the BIOS, then probably there is something wrong with your tablet…
Anyway you can find instructions about how to install modified and stock BIOS all over the forum, just google it.

December 23, 2017 at 11:17 am #76105Same problem here. I will try the stock bios and see
P.S – yep, it works. Only stock BIOS with last windows update
December 12, 2016 at 4:33 pm #58463There is one guy who has bricked its i9 with the 2.7… that’s why I’m looking the 2.6. I don’t expect to install either Linux or Android, so I don’t need the touchscreen fix anyway
October 2, 2016 at 8:08 pm #52542BoORD_L, I don’t have any issue with Windows key; I just want to disable via SW the CDK07 keyboad when it’s folded back. I’ve been looking for a key combo for that but no luck so far…

Not for gaming but it can still be useful to store lots of data

September 19, 2016 at 12:51 pm #50176No you can’t use the spare M.2 for an additional SSD; you can replace current SSD with a larger one, though.
On paper USB-c offers good data transmision rates, so it could work. I think is also faster than using SD cards, which are limited to 90 MB/s. Just try and let us know.

September 17, 2016 at 11:16 am #49994SSD yes. You can plug in a 4G modem in the second M.2 port too (not a second SSD tho). A pity it’s not RAM-upgreable. 8GB is a must for some apps

September 17, 2016 at 8:14 am #49956By the way, I’m trying to get pcsx2 to work but currently the performance is meh, Gran Turismo 4 is playable but I get drops down to 80% when hi-poly models like other cars are visible in the screen, which is a bit annoying sometimes. No thermal mod though, I hope I can get strong 50hz when done.

September 13, 2016 at 9:46 am #49655I checked and efectively I’m out of luck, because it’s the glass what unsticked from the plastic… I don’t think it’s a catastrophic failure, but still it bugs me a lot :/. When I open the case for the thermal mod, I will try to see if there is a way to put some glue and bond both pieces together again.
Regards!
