Hi all, this Sd card problem gets really annoying and TECLAST does not seem to care. I haved rooted my X98 plus and I am using Android only, now the tablet does not recognize any SD card. It does see that a card has been inserted but is not able to read or show. this is really bad .
DUDE this is exactly what i want to do, can u show me how pls? – at least if i can remove windows i can copy some larger files to the tablet – BIG THKS!

August 18, 2016 at 2:41 am #47168I’ve given up on my one, just using it to browse stuff in Android, cause sometimes when u boot into windows, it won’t let u boot back to Android with mucking around the boot settings. When i first got it I was very excited but then this SD card bug and the lack of support from the company pretty says we don’t care. If they don’t care, y should we care, just such a stupid way to build a brand. If it has worked well, I would have gladly bought more tablets from them and recommend them to friends etc. Now, never gonna buy any thing from Teclast again.

April 6, 2016 at 9:44 pm #32327I’ve got the Plus Dual Boot A5C8, very annoyed how the 128GB cards don’t work and they keep selling it as a “feature” on all the sites
-not visible in windows
-cannot format to anything but FAT32
-once i unmount, the tablet won’t recognise the card when i re insert it, so i’ll have to reformat and wipe all the DATA
I can kinda live with it this way (not brave enough to update BIOS, most probably bring me more grief etc) but not entirely happy, so imo, AVOID buying this tablet/brand unless you enjoy punishing yourself or you don’t care about the SD Card issues.
March 10, 2016 at 9:28 pm #28767did u format on your PC n then inserted the card or using win10 on the tablet? thk u
March 10, 2016 at 9:36 am #28694once you’ve done the BIOS update, can u format the SD card to NTFS or exFAT?
March 5, 2016 at 12:16 am #28054I asked Gal to edit his post but he may be sleeping or doesn’t care for my advice. Don’t flash this, wtf are you people thinking….a file posted by some random dude on the internet that can brick your tablet. Max
lol you’re right, not keen to kill my new tablet n get more grief! maybe i’ll just try to live with it, its just media files i was gonna put on anyway, pretty much the same watching it in Android or Windows
March 4, 2016 at 10:13 pm #28029<hr /> You should be able to see it in both OS.
argggggg and i was so pleased i could see the card in Android…any tips on how i can get Win10 to see the SD card? thks
March 4, 2016 at 8:44 pm #28016following this thread with interest as I’ve just got my X98 Plus, testing with a 128GB Kingston SDXC Class 10 card.
(Purposely avoided Sandisk – got a faulty 64GB, says lifetime warranty, just found out it is but I have to send it to HK for replacement)
Inserted the card – Nothing – Tried to Mount the card- Nothing
Switched to Windows – Nothing – Went to Disk management – Nothing there
Went back to Android – Nothing
Still in Android selected “ERASE” on a whim, came up with warning that all data will be deleted
After “Erasing” a brand new card, it recognised the SD card now and shows 116GB free
am testing by copying 30GB of data over to it now
Question – does both OS recognise the SD card or u can only use it within one OS?
