don’t try installing any other android than stock, you will not be able to use your tablet. you probably just need a new battery.
August 21, 2020 at 10:55 am #183827Yeah, touch is always the issue, i even tryed one of those desktop android builds like phoenixos and it all worked except touch and wifi. Chuwinreally used non standard parts in this one
August 20, 2020 at 4:30 pm #183817I have not because i have read online of experiences like you had. I gotta ask, did you try the driver backups for the 32 bit version?
Also, 2 gigs is not enough for a x64 os, at least not if you wanna run anything at decent speed.
April 16, 2018 at 12:45 pm #142006the link above is dead, here’s a reupload.

December 20, 2017 at 4:35 pm #76042did anyone try phoenix os
December 20, 2017 at 4:33 pm #76041i guess you can use their standard win installation method.
December 20, 2017 at 4:31 pm #76040hey man,
it can be done. you need the usual stuff for windows reinstallation which can be found here https://techtablets.com/forum/topic/windows-10-upgradeclean-installation-guide-for-dummies/ except use a bootable linux except windows installation.
as far as i know using win 10 is the best option now since the android part is old, although still usable. i dont know how it will run or will it support all the hardware. try and let us know.
May 22, 2017 at 9:57 am #67319the higher speed is the boost speed, the cpu will scale to that speed whenever it is able. it just depends on the temperature of the cpu. open the task manager in windows and start a browsing session, you’ll notice the speed going above the 1.33 limit. since the bios update and the copper cooling mod, my atom goes above 3,33GHz at times.
May 16, 2017 at 9:51 am #67025yes, that is true.
April 26, 2017 at 6:28 am #66076seems to me like a hardware failure. no other reason for both OS-s to be acting up. try arranging a return with your seller or opening a paypal dispute.
December 22, 2016 at 8:27 am #59075the driver should be there in the backup package. try restarting and installing it again.
December 21, 2016 at 7:44 am #59017The stock rom may seem clean but it is full of unoptimized apps. once you install amplify you see how many wakelocks it gets. it used to go through 20% of battery over night
now it does not.
December 20, 2016 at 2:02 pm #58990I haven’t found any info about RemixOS, I too am waiting for that. in the mean time you can do the following:
- root and install custom recovery
- install xposed, search explicitly for hi8, there are issues with generic tutorials. install amplify plugin.
- install titanium backup, remove all apps you don’t need.
- install adaway
that should do it
