Hi italian friends (ma perchè la tastiera di questo bel pc deve far cagare in questa maniera?) How do you feel using this italian keyboard in terms of lag? I have the v4 one and it’s quiet terrible, you miss 2 keystrokes within 3. grazie

    NEWS!

I just noticed that my keyboard version is the one having that sort of “share” symbol over the F6 key (see attached file) and that it exists another version having the “PrintScreen” function on that same key (that was actually missing in my ezbook). Can anyone tell which keyboard does he own and how does it feel?

Mine has the version without PrintScreen and it’s a terrible keyboard.

May bewe can discover that people like me can replace the one with the other and solve this problem. Thank you all

Very interesting man, but do you think that it can be a solution? I wouldn’t like to do all the work and then have the same result. Which keyboard version should it be for the v4 ezb3pro? the v1 or v2? Thanks

Hi, so do you think is it possible to replace the very bad keyboard of the ezb3pro with another one? For example recovering one from an apple-like external keyboard? I mean the whole board not only the caps. I think the connectors or the plug should be the same just like the shape of the item. Let me know. Ty

Excuse guys, should every ezbook 3 pro owner check the screen cables? Because I still didn’t try to open mine, but I’m afraid that open-close operations may ruin and break the screen definitely. Let me know guys. Ty

not being able to use ctrl+shift+left, for instance

All ‘triple’ combinations with Ctrl+Shift+… are impossible for two down rows of keys but only with left shift (LShift). Right shift (Ctrl+RShift+…) works like charming.

I am able only to select word by word with this combo : Ctrl(left) + Shift(right) + Right arrow key. No way to do same thing withLeft arrow key.

Does anyone know a simple program capable of mapping the keyboard or recording some missing shortcuts (to create PgUp or End or Home)? I didn’t understand so much the post you linked…

See this, at least you can fix the repeating issue. For the rest we are realizing that the keyboard is not so good as the other things of this notebook. Better disk drive but worst keyboard.

Ok, so it seems like the issue with typing quickly is rather due to there being no multiple key rollover. How have I not heard about this in any review? It’s impossible to type quickly and reliably on this keyboard and you can’t even use shortcuts like ctrl+shift+left to select a word. I realize this is a very cheap device, but this seems like a crucial thing when using a laptop.

It’s a bit stranger not to have heard anything about this, but probably we cannot expect, as I actually do, so much from a chinese device. For me this is a second machine mainly for multimedia use so fortunately i will not type so much. By now I only miss the combinations of more than 3 Keys but it seems to be common to the EZB.

I figured out how to fix keyboard delays or slow when typing repeat continuously. This is the tutorial: 1. Create a reg file using Notepad:

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\Keyboard Response] “AutoRepeatDelay”=”500” “AutoRepeatRate”=”20” “DelayBeforeAcceptance”=”0” “Flags”=”27”

    2. Save as .reg file and apply this file. 3. Log out or reset EZBook and feel the difference. *** If you have any trouble, create a reg file with the default value and apply this

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\Keyboard Response] “AutoRepeatDelay”=”1000” “AutoRepeatRate”=”500” “DelayBeforeAcceptance”=”1000” “Flags”=”126”

Man you are simply a Genius!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now it is almost perfect, thank you thank you and thank you!!! Typing now is very good in terms of speed, not so much in terms of precision but i’m pretty sure that is due to the hardware switch of the Keys. Also Fn+ F2 F3 for changing the volume works fine, not the same about the brightness. That was my experience

Of course I agree with you. In any case we could have installed an ssd while this keyboard is not upgredable. I hope in a driver solution but now i close my OT

IMHO it is a problem of sh*tty drivers ’cause how can it be that a keyboard may work so bad??

I also noticed that it’s difficult to up or down the brightness, very slow and laggy. Anyway this the only problem of this pc i found
