Update: unfortunately I couldn’t fix the either standby/hibernate function (which I feel is important in a very portable laptop with a small battery), so am reverting to Manjaro.
Tried the latest stable Debian, but it didn’t have drivers for the network card, so would have been difficult to update, so I didn’t install it.

May 9, 2019 at 7:32 am #151682I can point out one that DOESN’T work (damn shame!) :
unfortunately the 24w Razr RC30-021503 (being used with a “32nd” brand usb-c cable) doesn’t deliver quite enough charge to maintain function and charge the battery. I’m not sure what it’s delivering but my expected time ’til charged is getting longer rather than shorter.
I presume it isn’t “PD” (it promises 12v 2a is an output option), but it’s possible my cable is rubbish or there’s some other snag.
If anyone can think of a fix it’d be most welcome – a folding UK plug is an absolute bonus! I may have to fork out more significant dosh for the mu one.

Saw your message on there – will give xrandr a go 😀
Everything is working fine on manjaro except the SD card reader is intermittent in function. I’ll keep trying to lean my set up for battery optimisation…

March 26, 2019 at 7:20 am #150946512gb card worked for me in Windows. Cant get it to work in Manjaro, although I dont have another card to test with so that issue may be cards in general rather than just big cards…
