Well, mine is Z8300 version and i made speedup exactly same as Chris.  Still running fine on 1600mhz – no problems at all. Well, battery life is 10-15% shorter than without this speedup.

I also have a HiBook Pro also from GB, but

1. My HiBook pro’s screen is fine, not interference at all
2. Windows 10 was activated when i get it.
3. Thats true, it is only Usb 2.0, but there is only mention USB C, not USB C 3.0 or 3.1…

I think that you got a bad unit…

My HiBook pro is now 1600Mhz and it works fine. i Only change the memory speed to 1066 to 1600 and it feels a little bit faster. Test programs show that there is around 10-15% increase in overall speed.

Now postNL says: “The item is pre-advised” = Pre-advised means we haven’t received it yet. Is it really send out?

Thanks for info!, this is what i looking for, a news about soon released tablets. (well, i am looking a tablet myself and seems that there is always something “wrong” to me :), when every other is ok in tablet, some important thing is wrong, like bad wifi, or only 32GB size of eMMC) .

Do you have any idea, why 64GB version is only released in Korea?

I got full refund from Gearbest and tablet arrived to seller (almost 6 week in transit).

What i learn is that, there is a risk to be “early bird” 🙂

All i wonder is, why Chuwi spoil reputation releasing bad product like Chuwi Hi8 Pro…

Yes, i know the risk. But i think that Gearbest is decent seller, so i trust it.

First option on this case is to get money back, but now i think that factory fixed tablet is also ok.

I have posted mine, cost about 28 euros (finnish post), no tracking code.

2) Did you return it for a refund?
Yes (i like to see, if 45 days payback works, if not, then i hope that i get back working Hi8 Pro tablet).

3) Did you send it back for repairs?
No

4) Does anyone have positive experience with repairs (everything works perfect after it’s back from round trip to China)?
